This organization helped us when we needed it most. Lasse and his team provided the support to us during a very difficult time. They are truly doing a meaningful work to help tenants. Thank you!

They represented problematic tenant. It was hard to believe what false statements TRAC employee was making. Who is founding TRAC??

Don't expect a professional response from this organization. I requested assistance with a RTB hearing complaint. After wasting a lot of my time, filling out the required documents and submitting evidence, the lawyer never even bothered to call me. Not impressed. .

Very disappointing experience, instead of telling you they are not qualified to help, or help needed is outside their scope, they OBSTRUCT the clients and fail to understand relevant evidence rather than admitting they would be useless in the situation. I wasted time waiting for the lawyer who should have just admitted he was unqualified, rather than take hope and critical time away from the client who could have just gotten other help instead of waiting for a useless answer. Don’t get hopes up. And don’t waste time waiting for them if you seek help, because likely they may not be able to help you, and may be discouraging. TRAC needs to do better. They are not for tenants as they like to believe.

Lasse was very helpful to me. My landlord would not fix the leak that was behind my walls and coming up through my carpet. Lasse phoned him and it was fixed in two days. I highly recommend Lasse.

I had a very disappointing experience with one of Tenant Resource & Advisory Centre (TRAC)’s female customer (un)care representatives with heavy accent. Instead of offering support, the representative came across as judgmental and dismissive, making me feel like I was being blamed or misunderstood for simply trying to seek help. It felt more like I was being scrutinized than supported, something no one should experience when reaching out for tenant advocacy. Rather than being treated with empathy and professionalism, I was left feeling victimized, discouraged and disregarded. I expected guidance and understanding, but unfortunately, that was not the case. TRAC should seriously consider reviewing how their staffs interact with the people they are meant to assist. Tenants reaching out often do so during vulnerable times, and they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I fully agree with the other reviews highlighting the poor customer service. It’s disappointing, and I sincerely hope management holds these individuals accountable and takes appropriate action to address the issue.

Emilia was very helpful, kind, and she took time to listen to my situation. She also had a prompt response to all my questions. Whatever the outcome is going to be, I'm happy with all the options and solutions she provided. Thank you.

Warren was absolutely outstanding in assisting me with a complex landlord-tenant legal matter before the RTB. His professionalism, dedication, and deep understanding of the process made all the difference. What truly stood out was his strategic approach—he helped me build a solid case that ultimately led to a successful outcome. I couldn't have done it without his guidance. Highly recommend Warren to anyone needing strong, knowledgeable support in legal disputes!

The bad reviews you see are probably by landlords trying to get back at this organization who helps tennant with legal problems with their landlords. We asked for assistance with our wrongful eviction hearing. Because we asked late asking, we couldn't have someone representing us. But it wasn't necessary, we had a great person Lasse who took time to look into our case, get advices from different legal advisors & advise us. He gave us tips, helped us prepare our case, explained why we should not be worried, we did very well in the hearing & Won! We can't be grateful enough

The other reviews are valid. First time, I called. The operator was a little more patient, she told me she'll ask Anna to call and Anna called back right away. Anna told me to call back once the dispute resolution hearing date is set. I received the e-mail from RTB on Monday evening, since Tuesday (now is Thursday) I have left Anna multiple voicemails and not received a call back. I called again and I'm not sure if she's the same operator. She told me right away that there might be no one available to help me and I have to go to the hearing by myself before I even explained my situation. She interrupted me before I can finish answering her questions about the cause of the eviction notice, which I replied rudely as well. And this is the only agent who can advocate for a tenant? You should have at least showed empathy & acted like you are on tenant's side like your agency's name instead of landlord's. The tenants are at risk of losing their roof, landlords are not.
