“Incredible massage with an indelible concern for patient concerns and needs. Treatment felt personalized, genuine, and as though I was being listened to; unlike my experience with chain massage places. Taelor runs an honest business with truly remarkable service. I will definitely be returning. They worked with me and accommodated for my needs with respect to chronic muscle spasm around my lumbar and sacral spine. It was a delicate job owing to the markedly deep pressure needed despite the proximity of the muscles to my vertebrae. “I recently had my first massage with Taelor and it was fantastic! As promised on their website, Taelor's massage practice is indeed fat positive. As someone with ADHD, I would also say that their practice is neurodivergent- friendly. Taelor offered clear instructions, care for sensory needs, emphasized consent and communication, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. “Taelor advertises their practice as queer-friendly, trans-friendly, and body-positive. I'd avoided massages since coming out as trans myself because I was worried how I'd react. The way Taelor operates their pracice is exactly what I was looking for: they create a nonjudgemental and accepting space, understand the complexity of trans bodies and dysphoria around recieving some kinds of touch, and establish clear and ongoing consent. To say nothing of the fact that they are a wonderful therapist who reacted to my body's needs, it was one of the biggest differences I'd ever felt a massage make. Taelor operates out of their home but has created a relaxing and dedicated space there, I never felt weird vs. being at a studio or clinic. Parking is provided. “Taelor truly understands consensual practices and embodies them consistently. I used to think massages had to hurt to be effective and was clearly proven wrong after my first session! Taelor is gentle, yet very effective. 10/10 would recommend!”
