“I can’t believe i haven’t written a review yet! I started going to Sweatworking in the fall with a friend and fell in love immediately! I was new to weightlifting (like absolute beginner who didnt know any of the lingo) and felt nothing but support, encouragement and good vibes at sweatworking! From the instructors to the others in the classes, i laugh, sweat and learn new things every time. Highly recommend if you are considering putting strength training into your routine, you will not find a more welcoming and open gym. And - i am not normally a group fitness class person, but sweatworking and sarah have converted me - so if you feel the same way, give it a try anyway! The classes are small and the encouragement is genuine. This is such a special place!”Read moreShow less

“I just completed the four-week Learn to Lift program with Annika, and I am so excited for you if you decide to sign up. I had limited lifting experience and always found gyms pretty intimidating, but this program completely changed that for me. I looked forward to Saturday mornings - the group was amazing and Annika was so knowledgeable, positive, and made the entire experience super enjoyable. I learned so much, and my bestie even noticed a change in my posture. In addition, a one-on-one personal training session was included, where I was able to refresh the skills I learned in the course. Annika made it so accessible, and the time flew by because we had so much fun. I’ve already booked another two months, if that give you any indication of how great this program is :)”Read moreShow less

“Quaint, clean, fresh space providing well organized, clear aid to health through movement and other innovative strategies connecting clients to awareness of their bodies, habits and restorative capabilities. All ages seen in attendance with knowledgeable trainers; including giving opportunities for various approach practitioners to practice out of. Well organized schedule.”Read moreShow less

“I took the Learn to Lift program and loved it!!! Lots of fun and support - the small class size made it possible to learn a lot and get personalized feedback on form and technique. Highly recommend to anyone curious about weightlifting but unsure where to start.”Read moreShow less

“I recently attended a flow and vision boarding workshop led by Kristina at the Sweatworking Collective in Vancouver, and it was truly amazing. The evening began with an hour of flow grounding yoga. Kristina opened the practice with a beautiful mindful meditation that genuinely brought tears to my eyes as I reflected on her words. Throughout the session, she continually reminded everyone that they were welcome to take child’s pose or savasana at any time, creating a space that felt deeply supportive, accessible, and safe. Following the yoga, we moved into vision journaling, where Kristina shared thoughtful and well-crafted prompts that encouraged meaningful reflection and looking inward. The final hour of vision boarding was so much fun and really brought the whole group together as we flipped through magazines, shared energy, and created our boards side by side. As an added bonus, there were little gifted tanning water for everyone from Salty Face, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. This was such a well-facilitated, intentional, and uplifting workshop from start to finish. Kristina did a fantastic job guiding the entire evening, and I left feeling inspired, grounded, and connected. I will 100% be signing up for more of her events.”Read moreShow less

“Attended a Vision & Flow event by Kristina, who always leads her classes with an open heart and makes everyone feel welcomed. She set the tone of the evening by leading a candlelit yoga & meditation session, followed by a short journalling session with prompts to help prep us for the final stage of the evening, vision boarding. Always a pleasure joining a Sweatworking Collective event, thank you Kristina!”Read moreShow less

“I have nothing but positive things to say about Sweatworking Collective. All of the instructors go out of their way to ensure classes are comfortable, empowering and fun for clients. Sarah and co. have truly built a community. I started with Learn to Lift nearly a year ago and I've stuck with Sweatworking as part of my busy activity schedule because of the supportive environment, high-quality instruction and programming. Sarah's knowledge is apparent through her cues, and her empathy and positive energy make her a special trainer. Special shout-outs to Annika for running such great workouts, always with a smile; Kristina for organizing community hikes of different levels; and Tat for the perceptive and restorative fascial stretch therapy.”Read moreShow less
