“I had a really disappointing and horrible experience at Sutherland Chan Davisville, that has completely changed my opinion of what used to be my go-to place. I booked a 3:30 PM massage and drove 45 minutes through Friday traffic to get there. At 3:20 PM, while I was already in the building, I received a call saying my appointment was being cancelled. When I went upstairs to understand what was going on, I was told the masseuse had been sick all day. That immediately raised the question of why I was only being informed 10 minutes before my appointment after I had already arrived. What followed made the situation even more frustrating. I was told I could either wait until 5:00 PM or accept a shortened 30-minute massage instead of the 60-minute session I originally booked. Then in a very bizarre turn of events I was asked if I wanted them to go wake up the sick therapist who was apparently sleeping in the back. That made me extremely uncomfortable. I am not willing to receive a massage from someone who is unwell and had to be woken up to work. After all of this inconvenience, I asked about compensation. I was initially offered a 60-minute massage at the price of a 45-minute one, and later an additional 15 percent off. Considering I spent an hour and a half traveling on a Friday afternoon and did not receive any service, this felt completely inadequate. This situation was mishandled from start to finish, from communication to professionalism to resolution. At the very least, a full credit or complimentary service would have been appropriate. Really disappointing experience. I will not be returning.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent massage therapy session with Mary! She was professional, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Mary took the time to understand my concerns and focused on the areas that needed the most care. Her technique was both relaxing and effective, and I left feeling refreshed and much less tense. The environment was calm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend Mary to anyone looking for a skilled and caring massage therapist. I will definitely be booking again!”

He is top notch, very experienced, aware, respectful and he gives a very good massage. Perfect pressure, hits all the right spots and doesn't overuse the oil which I appreciate.”

“I liked the reception area on how it was really well lit, the decor and my massage therapist katrina was very thorough, nice and friendly. The receptionist was nice but she didn't say to me that they don't deal with the insurance company directly. It wold be nice to be told that at the very least. I always pay for my massages but most massage places will ask you if you want a receipt for insurance purposes or if you have insurance they will send it for you.”

“Customer service was very disappointing, as I had filled out their online form to book a massage and they had not answered. I waited another week and tried booking again online, and again never heard from them. After 2 weeks of no response I called to book an appointment, and they rushed me off the phone saying their "servers needed updating" and to call back later in the week. Sutherland-Chan is not worth the time and effort to book a massage, and there are many other great RMTs in the are who will treat you better.”

Lots of questions to fully understand what my challenges are so that she can focus accordingly on giving me the correct type of massage.
