“Unfortunately for me, my experience was not as great as the others that were posted. I found Sunita to be rude and dismissive of my concerns. She actually told me I was “lucky” she did my highlights as others would have done a full colour. “You’re lucky I even did this for you because most hairstylists would have done a full colour” is exactly what she said. She then said “don’t come back for at least 6 months because I’m not doing this again. No way.” Thing is, all I did was express my concern that my hair was brassy and not ashy like we had talked about. Instead of offering to fix it, she told me to “use a purple shampoo”. I was super accommodating and even told her I would wait while another walk-in got a haircut. By the time I left I had tears in my eyes. I felt sorry for the young girl working there. Sunita talked down to her and questioned everything she did. That poor girl doesn’t deserve to be treated that way.”Read moreShow less

“Today was my second time coming to superclips to get my hair done and I am super happy with the service. The staff are always super friendly when I walk in and make appointments. My stylist - Danika - is amazing. She always knows how to turn my vague ideas into exactly what I want and is great at setting realistic expectations for outcomes especially when it comes to colour. And despite the fact that I am normally a trust the process type of client, she is always explaining her process and making sure that not only do I understand what is happening with my hair but also that I am okay with it. “I had such a lovely experience getting my highlights done! Sunita did an amazing job with the highlight colour — it’s blended perfectly and looks so natural. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely comfortable and really listened to what I wanted. “Unfortunately I had a really bad experience. It takes everything out of me to give a bad review, but I feel like I had to. I went in last night for a trim and to get bangs. The stylist didn't introduced herself, she just asked me if I needed to get my hair washed. I showed her a reference picture for the bangs, she only looked at it for like 2 seconds. When cutting my bangs, I asked for a bit shorter but then she cut it way too short. There was nothing to do to fix it. The haircut wasn't even the worst part it was how unprofessional the way she talked about my hair. She even asked me who did my hair before insinuating that they did a bad job to it. It was really hurtful, as I try my best to take care of my hair. Also, she asked me which brand of shampoo I was using. I told her the brand which is Biolage and that I bought it online. She proceeded to tell me to only buy products in salons. The experience felt really rushed, it was the fastest i've ever left a salon. “I have asked a bob cut but the haircut she gave me is the worst haircut I had ever had. Even told me that I did not shown her the photo of what haircut I want when in fact she asked me and have shown her what exactly i want. “My daughter wanted blonde highlights that she had been diligently saving up for. We were able to walk into superclips and get an on the spot appointment.
