I’ve visited this medical centre multiple times. The front desk staff are always welcoming, friendly, and professional, which I really appreciate. However, my experience with the pharmacy has been very disappointing. The pharmacist is often not attentive and seems focused on the computer rather than helping patients. It takes a long time to get answers, and I was not clearly shown how to use my medication. I also found the interaction disrespectful. This has happened more than once, which is concerning because proper guidance on medication is very important. I hope management improves the pharmacy service.

Dr. Taher is the best doctor my dad and I have probably ever had. We moved here from Ontario and we really needed a physician. Doctor Taher has been very helpful, understanding and simply amazing with us when it comes to treatment or medical documentation. For all tbose people on here giving negative feedback about his wait times, first and foremost, from our experience, all the good/best doctor's we've had comes with a wait time here and there. So stop giving the doctor bad reviews! He is very thorough and goes above and beyond to keep us in check and healthy! Highly recommend Doctor Taher. Thank you Doc!

I always go here, all of the medical staff and doctors are great at making sure your health needs are looked after. It's pretty rare to visit a GP and have them listen and care, instead of shooing you out as soon as they can. This is the reason I won't go anywhere else, even though I moved much farther away in the city. Special thanks to Dr. Albrbar, he helped me with things most doctors don't even have much knowledge of.

Poor office. Admin staff is very quiet or rude on the phone. They have poor tracking on client files. They called me the week after my appointment that I attended to remind me of the appointment, and then when I called to follow up they then told me I had missed my appointment. Dr.Rashid submitted a referral for me but didn’t sign it. It took 3 times of the referral clinic and myself saying it needed a signature, I gave up. NP Gamala is ok, but only does referrals, and that’s if she sends them. They are also TERRIBLE with timing. No professionalism, and run 1-1.5hrs behind regularly. You also sit in the hallway, not a drs room until called in. You are stacked on top of one another in the waiting room, as well as their janky blood pressure set up, and height and weight measurements taken in the waiting room. I have since found another clinic and doctor.

I cannot thank Dr. Taher enough for his incredible care. When other doctors dismissed my father’s symptoms, Dr. Taher truly listened, took his concerns seriously, and was extremely thorough. His proactive approach led to a critical diagnosis that has given our family more time together. A special shout-out to the MOA staff as well! They are incredibly friendly, professional, and it was so helpful that some of the staff are Vietnamese-speaking. We are so grateful to have found such a compassionate and dedicated medical team.

Took ages, and there was an insufferable guy barking disgusting obscenities on the phone for an entire hour and nothing was done about it. Overall unpleasant experience. Only reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is because the doctor did their job.

I booked appointment for Feb 23RD at 02:45pm and reached on time. Once I went inside they told they canceled my today appointment and lying that they tried to reach me out. I understand that happens and schedule it for next morning Feb 24TH at 11:45pm and went 3 minutes late. They told me that they can’t take me in today again as doctor is taking last appointment now and telling me to reschedule again Worst management, no one called both time I took off from work for two days and wasted all.

I am writing to formally raise concerns regarding the care provided by Dr. Taher at Sun Up Medical Clinic during my child’s appointment on December 31, 2025. The reason for the visit was a suspected throat infection in my 5-month-old infant. During the appointment, Dr. Taher did not provide or explain a diagnosis. Antibiotics were prescribed, and the appointment was ended without any discussion of the suspected condition, rationale for treatment, or warning signs to monitor. Approximately 24 hours later, I contacted the clinic to request an official diagnosis. This call was delayed due to the clinic being closed for New Year’s Eve. When a diagnosis was eventually communicated, it was stated that my child had a severe inner ear canal infection and a severe throat infection. Shortly thereafter, my child began vomiting and was unable to retain the prescribed antibiotics. On Dr. Taher’s advice, we took our baby to the hospital for further assessment. At the hospital, my child was assessed by medical staff and diagnosed with a viral infection. We were advised that antibiotics were not necessary and were instructed to stop them immediately. Following this, I contacted Dr. Taher again to confirm the diagnosis and informed him of the emergency room visit. Despite this information, he reconfirmed the ear and throat infection diagnosis and ended the conversation without addressing the conflicting hospital findings or the adverse reaction experienced. I am concerned about: •    The lack of explanation or communication during the initial visit •    The prescription of antibiotics without a clear diagnosis •    The conflicting diagnoses between the clinic and the hospital •    The absence of follow-up care or discussion after an emergency hospital visit involving an infant Given the age of my child and the seriousness of the situation, I believe these concerns warrant formal review. I am submitting this complaint to ensure accountability and to help prevent similar experiences for other patients

I placed a phone call for the pharmacy and a very gentle, kind, patience, professional and with a sound someone who loves his job was bon the other end. He fulfilled my request in less than 5 minutes, what a great service I received. His name is VINCENT. Mr. VINCENT thank you for your service.

Kinda disappointed just because of some silly mistakes of Address on medical paper could take around 2 hours to fix it. But doctor was so good and explained everything and did examination very well but other staff were totally unaware what they were doing. This might happen he/she is new. I’m not complaining of any person. I’m not that guy. I’m just giving my opinion as per my experience. Also its a great place to get your medical done in cheap cost $50
