“My experience has been wonderful with Sunny Spot Child, Youth & Family Counselling and especially with Sheila Aini. She is compassionate, professional, understanding, and truly takes the time to get to know each child and their individual needs. She is very hands-on and engaged in her work, which has made such a difference for my child. My child absolutely loves coming to counselling and genuinely counts down the days until the next session. It’s adorable! I really appreciate the care, patience and dedication she brings to her work and would highly recommend Sunny Spot Counselling to other families.”

“My teenager had such a wonderful experience with sheila. I've taken her to multiple Counsellor’s before but I did not see nearly as much change until after her sessions with Sheila. She also provides parent sessions and provided me a lot of tools as a parent and she is really hands on with providing supports for her youth. “Our family has been working with Sheila for over five years, first as our behaviour interventionist and now also as our therapist. She’s worked with both of our kids with autism and ADHD, and she’s made an incredible difference in all of our lives. She started with our oldest when he was just 3 years old. He was nonverbal, struggled with social communication and emotional regulation, and was a flight risk. Seeing how far he’s come today is something we never thought possible. Our family finallyy feels like we can breathe again. Sheila has also been an amazing support for my wife and me. She’s given us so many practical strategies and has been there during some of our hardest moments as parents. She genuinely cares, is so playful and energetic with the kids and always helps us find solutions somehow instead of making us feel stuck or there’s nothing we can do about it.
