One was in Costa Rica when I was 24—someone I’ll probably never find again. The other was Alex, today. Alex is extraordinary at what he does. She really listened to what I was saying about my low back issues and how they were impacting my life. She was a perfect mix of professional, practical, empathetic and intuitive. She reviewed with me all my imaging and history, asked and answered questions (with the aid of her spinal column models), discussed treatment strategies and also life strategies for managing and improving my situation. She has had personal experience with chronic pain so she gets that.
