“My regular stylist retired and I was terrified to try someone new as not all stylists or barbers are good with Asian hair. After letting my hair just do what it wanted for over a month I took the plunge and gave Elegance hair studio a try. Had the pleasure of meeting Maikol and having him work his magic. “First time I went in the owner did my haircut and beard, did a great job. Went back the second time and the staff was very rude to the man in front of me and he left. “I’ve asked for a mid taper before, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been given a bowl cut, but when I went here, the barber Michael really knew what he was doing. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a fresh cut.”

“I booked an appointment with Alvin and got there a few minutes late, which wasn’t an issue although he said he had a client after. The cut I got was pretty good, but not really what I wanted; I showed a photo of myself with the haircut I wanted which is attached here (with more on sides). There wasn’t anyone else in the shop throughout the whole cut, nor did the aforementioned client show up. I was also charged $42, although it said a cut was $30 online. Alvin said that was the walk-in price vs the appointment price, but booking through the online portal is $30, which is puzzling. It does say it’s $30 for a 25 minute cut online, and Alvin spent closer to 35 minutes on mine, which could be the reason for the discrepancy? He did say I could come in later if I had concerns or wanted adjustments.”Read moreShow less
