I'm conflicted about giving more stars. I heard wonderful things about Strive. I also chose not to listen to the negative. I hate having to do this but my daughter had a terrible experience. She got a referral to have a sport medical session because our doctor thought she had a knee tear from soccer and I called about 3 weeks after it was sent. I just wanted to ensure it was sent and the receptionist was so annoyed with me. She said it was her job to call people, not the other way. I just wanted clarification on the process and she proceeded to tell me about all the hundreds of other referrals she gets and how busy she was. She didn't have time for us. I asked if there was someone else we could see and she said I had to go back to my doctor to have them decide if I could see someone else. I asked about seeing Katie instead and she said I'd have to call back because she only works for the doctors. We eventually got in with Katie and when I asked her about the referral she spoke to the woman again and she was really rude. She wouldn't look up the referral because she was "dealing with" referrals that came in weeks before ours. When Katie left, we were transferred to Valerie and was told we were done with physio because we were feeling better. We asked again about our referral and then we went to another place. Saw a doctor quickly and my daughter had a referral to another physiotherapist and we are doing so well. She might need surgery, she has a pretty large tear in her knee and we still haven't heard from the doctor at strive. We got a fast scan due to the information about the tear and the pain is so much better. She is almost back to soccer. We wish the things we heard about Strive were not true but sadly, it's all true. Physio was good, the reception system, is not ok.

I saw Derek PT for 2 separate injuries. From my first appointment, I felt welcomed and well cared for. The physiotherapist listened to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and created a treatment plan tailored to my needs. The exercises and hands-on treatment have made a real difference in my recovery. The clinic is clean, organized, and the staff are always friendly. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing physiotherapy.

My husband received a referral, and I called to follow up. The receptionist was polite and helpful and transferred me to the referrals department. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with there was rude. Everyone can have a busy day, but it takes no more effort to be courteous than it does to be rude. It’s disappointing that a paid physiotherapy service can provide a customer experience that feels just as frustrating as the medical system. Good customer service should be a priority, especially when people are seeking care.

I've been a long time runner and had some issues with my knees that I thought might be serious. Shailesh was quick to identify a set of exercises and stretches that would, if followed regularly, completely resolve the problems. I'm grateful for his knowledge and skills. I also learned about my knees and legs, and how to keep them healthy while I continue to be active.

I have been to this facility on two separate occasions for physio therapy. I was welcomed immediately and listened to my concerns. After my assessment, my physio therapist David was able to guide me when th stretching and exercises. Without his expertise, I would still be in much discomfort. That being said, David was very respectful, knowledgeable and very friendly. I'd come back we without a second thought and would refer anyone to come here to help seek assistance on getting back on the right track! Thank you strive for all that you have done!

I have been dealing with an ongoing shoulder/rotator cuff issue for most of my adult life from an old baseball injury. I recently aggravated the injury and went and saw Meghan (athletic therapist), and this is the most thorough, well explained, professional and insightful experience I have ever had in regards to sorting out what is actually causing my shoulder pain. The facility is great, the staff is great, I highly recommend to anyone considering going.

A great experience from the moment you walk in the door. Melissa is there to great you with a warm smile and pleasant conversation. She managed my schedule and billing seamlessly thus saving me from a headache with my insurance down the road. My physiotherapist Shailesh is an absolute gem. Very knowledgeable and efficient with his treatment. Diagnosed and on the road to recovery in a timely manner. I definitely recommend their services.

Strive is probably the best facility I have gone to. Not only do they treat me with respect, but they don’t overload me with unneeded information or home care. A very special shoutout to the front staff Mel! She was able to work with me to get my appointments set up to fit my schedule. She made the entire process for future bookings and payments seamless. I look forward to continuing to be a client there!

A day after gardening (my passion) I woke up and could barely walk. Xray revealed mild to moderate osteoarthritis. But I could hardly walk!! My MD suggested tendonitis. Trying to make a long story short the initial P.T. (at another sports clinic) suggested just osteoarthritis and the GLAD program they offer. The GLAD program is great but I also needed regular treatment by a P.T. After a knee replacement about 10 years ago my husband was treated by Derek and spoke so highly of him. I went to see Derek at Strive Sport and Exercise who completed a thorough examination concluding in addition to the arthritis there was probably a meniscus tear. Darryl set up a treatment plan and provided excellent, compassionate, gentle physio therapy. He taught me the exercises I need to do at home to keep me mobile. He facilitated an examination with Dr. Moldes, also at their clinic. Dr. Moldes is amazing. Knowledgable, understanding and compassionate. Thankfully I was a candidate for a Cortisone Shot. This shot has given me my life back....initially about 90% and one month in now probably 80%. I know they don't last and in the meantime I continue with the GLAD program knowing Derek is only a phone call away should/when I need further treatment. Derek only wants you to succeed and definitely knows his business! Highly recommend!!! A BIG thank you to the entire crew at STRIVE sport and exercise medicine. All wonderful people!!! Janice Murray

We were referred to this clinic after my daughter experienced two soccer-related injuries (her back and calf), and the care we received was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt supported and well looked after. Our first appointment was with Dr. Andrea Moldes, who was incredibly thorough, compassionate, and professional. She quickly expedited the imaging referral and took the time to explore all possible causes for my daughter’s injuries. Her attention to detail and her willingness to explain everything clearly made us feel confident and reassured. She also provided helpful guidance for at-home care, which made a big difference in my daughter’s recovery. We were then referred to Derek Macpherson for taping, and he was equally wonderful. Derek was patient, knowledgeable, and very kind as he walked us through how to properly tape her before games and explained the benefits of using taping as part of her healing process. His thoroughness and calm approach made the experience so much easier for us. I’d also like to highlight the front desk staff, who were consistently warm, helpful, and patient during both in-person visits and phone calls. It’s clear that everyone at this facility genuinely cares about their work and the well-being of their patients—whether that’s improving someone’s daily quality of life or, in my daughter’s case, helping her get back to playing the sport she loves. We are truly grateful for the excellent care we received, and we highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of supportive, professional, and compassionate treatment.
