“Saw a lady named Mia and had the best massage I’ve had in years! She hit all the right spots with just the right amount of pressure! No more knots! This little hidden gem is a 5 out of 5 and the best part $80 for an hour. This place is a must try!”

“Had an amazing experience at Strathcona Massage and Foot Spa. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff made us feel very comfortable throughout the visit. “NOTE: Long post Me and my husband were a regular customer in this spa. They kept changing therapist and the everytime we booked an appt, we'll let them know that we want a female therapist but as soon as we got there, only 1 female is available. It happened a couple of times. We also went there for prenatal massage a few times cuz it was advised by my OB for me to get one but since my husband can speak Mandarin, therapist kept talking to him and there was one that kept on whispering in my ears while doing the massage that I am so lucky with my husband cuz he is so smart and handsome (which I found unprofessional for them to kept saying that while asking a bunch of personal questions to my husband). The most recent one was just o Nov 28( which is my bday and my husband's gift for me to get a 90 mins full body massage) They gave me a therapist that seems like doesn't know what to do cuz they kept giving her instructions what to do) My husband specifically told them that 30 mins foot massage and 1 hr full body and for me i will lay down on my side since I'm 33 weeks pregnant. They messed up the time and just gave us an hour massage. Didn't let us change our robes after fhe foot massage so i was so exposed(since they gave me a small robe) put me on my back with pillow so my body is arched ( so i took the pillow out). The therapist that gave my husband a massage was the same lady that was whispering to me the last time about my husband. And we i opened my eyes, she was literally on top op my husband giving him an "upper" leg massage. Very unprofessional. And while we are changing to our clothes after the massage. the therapist who gave my husband a massage kept coming to the room holding the POS machine and getting the payment right away, not just once but twice even if we told her that we are still changing. “Don’t go with Isabella, she would ask for a tip halfway your service. Her massage was okay not even the greatest. After my massage she didn’t leave the room just stood and watched me get dressed waited for me to hand her out tip money, after I told her I didn’t have cash she pointed me to the atm machine. After I said next time I will come back and bring cash she gave me a weird look and said something in chinese about her tip out. I was thinking of coming back after the massage but this was my first time in this location hence after this unprofessionalism or behaviour I had to deal with, Ive decided to never come back to this place again. *reply / first of all respectfully her english was very hard to understand, she said she had only been in Canada for 1 week from Singapore. Great, it is true she asked me if i wanted a do a deep tissue and then I declined. She then asked me how I want me massage soft or hard, I said medium. My manulife also just got charged today I was charged for 90 minutes I asked for 60 mins. The language barrier definitely played a big role in this scenario.”Read moreShow less
