“I have been seeing Hailey (RMT) for the past 6-7 months to help with my lower back pain and she's been great. She understood exactly where the issues are and it's been seamless. “I was referred to Step Up by a colleague. Before starting the massage, things start off nicely with friendly and welcoming staff. Then you're given a cup of still or sparkling water, and flip-flops to wear in preparation for what's next. The massage therapist I have chosen to stick with - Oscar - is excellent. Not only has he helped me address chronic upper and lower back pain that has been an issue for years through deep-tissue massage, but he has also helped me stay limber between visits with stretching and fitness recommendations without being preachy about it. Thanks to his help, I have a better range of motion and improved stamina than I did 5 years ago. I'm aging better than I expected I could. This clinic, and Oscar in particular, have made a difference in how I feel on a typical day. Those days I push myself, however, the difference is even more profound. I can't recommend Step Up and Oscar enough.”

“I visited this clinic for RMT treatments recently twice. The receptionists at the front desk were friendly and attentive. The environment is very clean and gives off good vibes. Customers are asked to take off their shoes and put on slippers. They offered me water before my treatments and also afterward. First visit was with Elena and second visit was with Madeline. Both were friendly, excellent and attentive. During the treatments, they would ask me if I am OK with the pressure and if I need deeper or lighter pressure etc. I am very glad to have discovered this place and will be going back again!”

“1000/10! The clinic is clean, inviting and always welcoming reception team. The blue moss adds a very unique touch throughout the clinic. I have been going to Step Up Bloor for over 3 years now. James and Lena run a great team here! The therapists that I see: Consuelo for Physiotherapy - Pelvic Floor Specialist is AMAZING. She is incredibly talented, smart and explains all the exercises really well. This clinic also has recently invested in a cool machine that helps anyone looking to understand their pelvic floor abilities with visual tools that has really helped me. I am always excited to rebook with her. I never feel nervous to ask her anything because she makes sure all her patients feel comfortable and cared for. I also see Dr. Sherman Chiu as my Chiropractor. I have seen a handful of chiros over the last 13 years and I would highly recommend him. He always arrives to appointments early to welcome you in. Dr. Sherman takes a great assessment to determine the best treatment and follows-up. Every visit is always very satisfying and leave each appointment feeling much more relieved. He is very mindful about what exercises make sense to implement for each patient. Looking forward to seeing him again.”

“I’ve been seeing Kelly Kangi Lam for acupuncture and she has been absolutely incredible! I couldn’t recommend her more. Her sessions are so much more than just acupuncture though, she brings her extensive knowledge and background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Reiki and understanding of energy in creating such powerful healing sessions. I’ve been to other acupuncturists and they normally put the needles in and leave you on your own, but Kelly uses this time with you to go deeper with your concerns and that has brought so much power and healing to my sessions with her. We have been working on digestion, circulation and sugar cravings, and she takes a holistic approach to the season, focusing on root causes into the issues from eating habits, to lifestyle factors, including doing TCM, breath work and frequency adjustments as a supplement to the actual acupuncture session. If you’re open to it, she also does hypnotherapy which she can bring into the session, and I tried it not expecting much, but it has been surprisingly effective! When I started with Kelly I wasn’t sure what to ask either but knew I wanted some help, and under her guidance the overall results I have experienced alone have shown me that what she has done has been healing my body and has had such a significant impact. Having followed her advice, I have been able to kick the sugar cravings (can’t believe it!), my digestion has improved and inflammation in my body has visibly reduced (my clothes fit different too). The last thing I’d like to share for those open to it, Kelly is a deeply spiritual person and she can bring that into your session if you ask, the meditation that she supports and performed allows for deeper healing in my view, especially for those that believe in the mind/body connection - so give it a try. My experience with her has been unique and I think she brings that unique approach to each person and each session, her approach is suited to YOU and what you’re comfortable with.
