I’ve been going to Susan for the past 17 years, and she truly is the best. Her pressure is always perfect, and she consistently helps relieve my lower back pain. Susan is incredibly friendly, caring, and professional, and she always makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and highly recommend her to anyone looking for excellent care.

Our family was looking for a new therapist as our current therapist has gone on a leave. Susan had lots of opening, and she was close to us, so we decided to give it a try. Her method focuses on fascia release. For us, it was not effective, there was very little pressure and an excessive amount of lotion/oil. Typically after a massage, even if not all tension is released, I feel better and more relaxed. After an hour massage, there was no relief at all from the tension in my neck and shoulders. In addition, punctuality is important to me, and we waited 20 minutes for my son's appointment and I waited outside a locked office for her to arrive 5 minutes later than when my appointment was supposed to start. This technique may be good for some people, but not what we were looking for.

I absolutely enjoyed every minute of Susan’s fascia course! Her passion and dedication to her craft truly shine through in every aspect of the training. With over 30 years of experience and extensive training, Susan has developed an incredible course that is both practical and powerful. What I loved most is how this approach is going to save my hands and provide lasting pain relief for my clients. The treatments are not only effective but also gentle and deeply therapeutic. I’ve already seen how this work can make a real difference—without the yo-yo effect. I would highly recommend this course to any therapist who is passionate about helping clients achieve real, lasting healing,

My massage was wonderful. I had a lot of soreness in my body and Susan's massage took that away. It was very therapeutic. Susan has a great touch and massages very well. I was relaxed and felt much better after my excellent massage by Susan. I would highly recommend her she is amazing

I booked a last minute appointment yesterday with Susan as I couldn't get into my regular RMT. I have been having massages for over 25 years and seen many RMTs and never had such a terrible experience. I can appreciate running late, but she was 35 minutes late for no known reason. She came out and told me she was running 5 minutes late which somehow turned into over 35 minutes. I attended for a specific acute lower back issue which I've had great success with other RMTs in the past when it has happened. I asked to have work done specifically on this area. She insisted that she works on the fascia and it's a whole body process that she needs to massage my entire body to fix this. I reiterated that I only wanted my lower back worked on. She said she doesn't work on getting the 'knots out' as she works around the whole body and it just naturally releases itself. I'm still not sure what massaging my forearms, hands, and fingers has to do with lower back pain as she insisted this was necessary. She slathered about a gallon of greasy oil and over my back and up the back of my head into my hair and then slapped a sheet and heating pad on top my back. She then just lightly slid her hands all over with basically no pressure and then just stopped moving and kept her hands still for moments at a time which she stated was 'releasing the knots'. As another person reviewed, she used about a 1/10 with pressure when I had asked for deep tissue work. The best comparison I can think of to really hone in on her 'technique' and amount of pressure used is a child finger painting. I've never had this kind of experience before before but it was a gross feeling with the amount of oil on me, so much to the point where it was making a sloshing noise as she moved her hands. I asked her to stop touching my knee and then she said she has already fixed it and it was released (certainly not fixed, nor the issue I attended for). She continued to insist that she had 'released' all of my back issues, yet she barely even touched my area of concern out of the 75 minutes I had booked. She maybe spend a few moments here after I refused to let her touch my knee any more and I asked for her to once again focus on the area I came in for. She told me she had already fixed it (crazy since she didn't even work on this area) but agreed to "work this area again". She also tried to tell me she was using a special anti inflammatory oil that she made herself on me and put it on my knee before asking me if she could. I have no idea what was in it, she said she was going to market it to sell next year. She frequently tried to ask if she could extend my appointment to 90 minutes. When I told her that I felt I had no relief she said it was impossible that she had released the problem areas and more and then rudely told me she's not a chiropractor so what can I expect. I've seen other RMTs for the same acute issue in the past and had great success from it. Her profile states "Susan’s massage style is to use traditional Massage Therapy techniques. In addition to this she also includes her specialties such as Joint Mobilization, Gentle Decompressive Myofacial Release, Craniosacral, and Therapeutic Cupping Technique" however, it should state that she ONLY does gentle techniques. There was nothing traditional about what she did. She was unwilling to listen to her client and work on what was asked. I regret staying after her being 35 minutes late and wasting so much of my time and money for such a poor experience. It is rare that I write reviews but I just really hope that this can save someone a terrible experience like I and others have shared. Massage therapy isn't cheap and so many attend for acute issues looking for help. This isn't something you'll get from Susan. My husband sees Janine at this clinic and has had a very different, great experience so it's unfortunate that this review is a hit against the whole clinic and not just this specific practitioner.

I have made two appointments with Susan and both times she has cancelled the day of my appointment. In the second case, I was already in her office waiting. Both times were attributed to family issues. Although I can appreciate the difficulties of parenting, it is totally unprofessional and unacceptable to not have a back up plan when these issues arise, I’m sorry Susan but I did not believe you can be relied on. Perhaps it’s time to rethink your business practices. I feel sorry for her colleagues who have to listen to the complaints!!!!

My family and I have been going to Susan since she opened her practice over 20 years ago. She has a solid, professional skill set and is definitely in the right career field. Her RMT work includes various types of massage and sometimes energy work, which I know little about, but always walk out feeling 100% better than on arrival. I’ve had regular massage with many therapists since the age of 17 & Hands in Health is by far one of my preferred clinics. Susan has built a successful, client-centered practice in London over the years, and I’ve recommended her to many others. She has helped me through 2 MVAs and always sends me home with extra tips on posture, sleep patterns, exercises, stretching etc. Kudos to the staff at Hands in Health on a job well done. Keep up the great, healing work! Sincerely, Kimberley McLachlan

My family and I have been going to Susan since she began her RMT practice 20 years ago. She is incredibly talented and has treated us through surgeries, car accidents, a pregnancy and for overall wellness. I have made dozens of referrals to Susan because her patient-centred approach is professional and outstanding.

Susan is extremely talented & skilled at what she does. She has been my RMT through 3 pregnancies & 2 MVA. Susan and the services she provides have been a crutch for me through my cronic ailments and new ones. Susan has a genuine interest in her clients & that is evident. I have referred Susan to my husband, children, mother, father, sister and countless friends. I strongly recommend Susan! You will not be disappointed.

I had the most incredible massage with Susan. I went home feeling like a million bucks. I have had many massage therapists and I've never had this sort of experience. I felt so restful. All my knots were released and she hit every single spot that has been giving me stress. Her cranial sacral work is UNBELIEVABLE. My head has never felt so amazing. I would go back every week if I could.
