My friend is this facility it was shocking to go into this dungeon basement look. What a sad way to die when your time comes. The staff gives my friend "or anyone" in this part of the hospice the least attention they can. A tray of food is placed on the table as if the patient can eat or not. My friend can not swallow easily, if at all. My biggest eye opener out of all this, is these places should be with a camera, so it can be seen how they are treated by staff when no one is there. My friend has lots of family and people looking in on her, because they want to see our friend. This neglected area is another reason these people could die much quicker. A horrible place, any one to think this is not so, go visit someone? If you go with a team member that wants your monthly money, they will put on a show.

0 star for the senior home. Irresponsible staff. Filthy place with dead mice.

Simply the most compassionate extended care centre I have ever witnessed. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. The dedication, support, service, and around the clock care is astonishing. The attention to detail provided is exemplary and my grandmother seems to be in such happier spirits being around new friends and a great group of nurses. I cannot stress this enough, this place should only be getting 5/5 star ratings.

It’s been a few years since my Mom was there fir her last weeks. I was so grateful for the kind help as she came to the end of her life. She was suffering at home, and she was totally comfortable there at St.Michael’s. They made sure she felt no pain. I’m spending time right now again here with a close family friend and all the same kindness and care are being shown to him.

If I COULD rate it a 0, I would. This place treated my grandfather like trash, tossed him around and treated him like absolutely nothing. He was physically not well and could not speak either, could only move his arms and legs a bit as a sign of communication. I have so much to say about this place, but all I need to tell you is, DONT ever send your grandparents here, I beg you. I have an unconditional love for elderly ones and I do not want anyone treated like this. Whether or not he was treated because he was of color, this place is low.

Staff were fantastic and provided exceptional care to my Aunt! Staff continued to provide incredible care and went above and beyond when COVID started. My Aunt was well taken care of and I as her support person was supported and kept up to date on any issues that came up. I can't thank St. Michael's enough for all the did for my Aunt and myself.

My mom was in St. Mike's for a few short days before she passed. I wanted to take her home for her final days but was advised for her to go to hospice for the ongoing medical care and comfort. I didn't want her to pass in a "facility". I could not have been more wrong. I would never have been able to care for her as they did. I feel very blessed that she was cared for by the wonderful staff there. They spoke to her and us with compassion, kindness and dignity. My eyes are teary with gratitude for the saints that work there. I can't thank you enough.

There aren't enough words to convey how great the hospice staff are at St. Michael's! My father was only there for 9 days but he was so happy and comfortable in the last days of his life. The nurses treated him like gold and my brother and I also. He had his own lovely room with everything he needed and they even accommodated us overnight with everything we needed. Thank you SO much! All our love to you guys ❤

Caring and compassionate staff made my mom comfortable from the day she arrived till the last day. Although her stay way short but knowing mom was well taken cared off was a great relief.

The staff here is very very nice. The facilities are a bit dated and they lack the permits to have a personal fridge in the rooms. There’s one fridge to share between 16 beds (families) in the kitchen area which can fit a family of 6 at the table. There’s hot water, cold water and ice dispenser. Tv’s some how are allowed in the room but they don’t work which brings me back to the question why can’t we have a bar fridge instead? The nurses are top notch and always on top of their game.
