“EDIT: I gave the studio a second shot for another visit after speaking with Stephanie. I had my massage done with Hanna and she was great. She made it a point to emphasize the service on the focus areas I listed on my intake form and she was warm, kind and very professional. She gave me reminders for aftercare, which I appreciated. I’m glad I came back and thank you to Stephanie who made it a point that customer satisfaction is a priority at the studio! Had their lymphatic drainage promo ad pop up for me and wanted to try the studio out. I’ve had a few sessions of this massage before in preparation for my wedding but had yet to find spa I thoroughly liked and trust at the time. The esthetician, Julia asked if I had this treatment done before and I said yes, but was really looking forward to getting my face massaged because I haven’t had any experience with that yet. I booked for a lymphatic body and face drainage massage. I told her I was doing prep for my wedding. It was a lost opportunity for great conversation as the entire period remained silent. The service itself was okay, however the experience lacked any warmth or care. She left after doing my body and said the treatment was done. Before paying, I asked her about the face massage add on and she said that it wasn’t booked on their end. She then asked if I was interested in booking another appointment. Huh? No apology. There was no effort made to rectify this misunderstanding and didn’t seem to care or be aware of how this client experience was going to be perceived. “I got the premium spray tan for my prom and made sure to follow both the pre-care and aftercare instructions carefully because I wanted the best possible results. Unfortunately, the tan turned out very splotchy, and there were noticeable blue streaks on different areas of my arms. I rinsed the tan at the exact time the salon advised and wore loose-fitting clothing that fully covered my body, so I don’t believe these issues were due to user error. While the colour itself was fine, it wasn’t anything exceptional. I’ve honestly had better results using self-tanner that costs around $30 for an entire bottle. What was even more disappointing was that the spray tan started fading and coming off after only three days. In comparison, my self-tanner typically lasts at least five days before I notice any patchy fading. On top of the disappointing results, I also found the customer service to be quite off-putting. I didn’t feel particularly welcomed, and the overall experience lacked the level of professionalism and care I would expect when paying for a premium service. Overall, I’m very disappointed because I paid for a premium spray tan expecting professional results and a positive customer experience. “I had a spray tan done by Jessica a few times and I have nothing but amazing things to say!! She has recommended the most perfect options for me the 3 times I’ve been and every single time my tan has been perfect. I will recommend her to anyone that wants a spray tan as she truly is the best. She is so welcoming makes you feel comfortable and makes sure you get the most perfect results. She takes her time when spraying ensuring she gets every inch of your body so that the tan is even all around. She takes her time to listen to exactly what you’re looking for and once she’s done she takes her time to explain aftercare so that your tan results can last. “I absolutely love Studio Gldn! From my very first spray tan, Jessica made me feel comfortable, confident, and completely at ease. She is so friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about her clients. I actually made a mistake myself after one of my appointments and ended up affecting part of my tan. When I reached out, they were incredibly helpful, gave me advice and tips on how to fix it, and even got me in the next day for a touch-up. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my results. What I appreciate most is that they don’t just do your tan and send you on your way. They check in afterward, answer questions, and give great tips and tricks on how to take care of your tan so it lasts and develops beautifully. I’ve loved my results every time, and I’ve already purchased a membership to keep coming back throughout the summer. “I have gotten multiple spray tans here for events over the years, and it is a 10/10 service. They take such care in doing your tan, and really spend their time on you. “I had such a great experience at Studio Gldn with Jessica. I booked the Premium Tan and couldn’t be happier with the results. She really took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, and the colour turned out perfect for my beach vacation. The entire process felt elevated and thoughtful from start to finish. The room was spotless, well-designed, and didn’t feel messy at all — I loved that the space (and even the ventilation setup) was integrated so you don’t see overspray everywhere. The application itself was seamless, and the drying process felt so much more premium compared to other places I’ve been (no awkward giant fan moments). She also powdered me at the end so I didn’t feel sticky, which made a big difference. The tan developed beautifully — no patchiness — and her aftercare instructions were clear and easy to follow.
