“I reached out to the St. James spa to put together a mommy & me spa day for my daughter's 7th birthday. They went above and beyond with balloons, a lightbox wishing her happy birthday and a gift bag. We had an absolutely wonderful time with kid appropriate services (massage, mani, pedi) and pool access. We even capped the day off with afternoon tea at the Ritz after a hair cut & style. So if you're looking for a place to bring a child to pamper them with the full spa experience, where they're welcomed rather than simply tolerated (they even gave us chilled cucumbers to put on our eyes when I mentioned that that's what my daughter had in mind when she asked for spa day!), this is the place to do it, and I won't hesitate to book again.”Read moreShow less

“I came in with back pain and very uptight from my week. Lea, who comes from Singapore, had a unique technique. She gave me a great massage, from working my legs, back and head. She also included nice stretches. I will be back. Thanks again!”

“I booked massages for my 2 kids here on January 2. The therapists themselves did an amazing job, as it was my kids’ first experience with massage. However, when we left, I got only one receipt because the other therapist left for the day. The receptionist told me the other therapist should email the receipt to me the next day, January 3. Today is January 5 and I called asking for the other receipt. The receptionist had no idea that the other receipt was supposed to be emailed to me. She even said in a weird accusatory tone, “well, did you ask?” To which I replied, of course I asked! And I already relayed all the info on January 2 for the receipt but got nothing. The staff obviously doesn’t communicate with each other and as long as they get your money it’s GOODBYE! I asked to get called when the receipt is finally sent. It’s so inconvenient because their prices are high and obviously I’d like to claim the massages right away to get my money back. It’s been 3 days now that I’ve been waiting and still don’t have the other receipt.”Read moreShow less

“We passed by for a couples massage treatment and my partner mentioned that out of all the massages she's had, this was in her top 10. Kudos for that! I gave it a 4 star though as the service in general felt a little on the cold side - it was towards the end year though and I believe they had an employees party the same night, so it was probably just a bad coincidence as the rest of the reviews seem great. If you're staying at the Ritz-Carlton, I highly suggest you book a treatment. As a side note, I'm curious if they send staff to go research other fancy spas like the Guerlain next door. “The SPA is actually below the first floor of the hotel... doesn't feel like it so much but it's noticeable... facilities in the spa are ok.... however the roof top pool area is the real star... lap pool, sauna, sun terrace with loungers, inside and out... staff are friendly and good at what they do... recommend the spa to anyone...”Read moreShow less
