“My experience with Southwest Massage and Wellness has been nothing less than exceptional. I went there initially for a deep tissue massage and was so impressed by the breathe and depth of expertise their specialist had in the facility. My experience with Karina (massage therapist) has been exceptional every time. She brings with her expertise not only from her experience in Canada, but abroad and incorporates them in her sessions. Hot stone, warm towels, fire cupping lymphatic drainage, facia release etc. Honestly it felt like I was at a spa or receiving a massage treatment abroad. She really brings her Canadian education and expertise with her wordly experience and provides the most relaxing yet equally intensive massage. My experience with Dr. Dasha (acupunturist) has been the same. Very thorough, combines Canadian practice with more holistic eastern practices. She also used a generous number of needles in my opinion and focused on points in the body other practioners never did or never mentioned to me in the past. “I’ve been seeing Ramona for years now and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. She’s so personable and easy to talk to, which makes every appointment feel comfortable and relaxed. What I appreciate most is how she really listens and adjusts the massage to exactly what I need, especially when it comes to pressure. If I need deeper work, she does it gradually to make sure I’m still relaxed, and if I’m feeling more sensitive, she adjusts right away. I always leave feeling so much better. The clinic itself is also such a great space. The staff are genuinely welcoming and kind, which makes a big difference. The waiting area is cozy with a super comfy couch, and they offer tea or water while you wait, which is such a nice touch. The whole place feels calm and peaceful from the moment you walk in. “From the 1st time I stepped in to SW massage, I knew I was in good hands literally. A co-worker recommended I try to get in to see Ramona. It took a bit, as she is always booked. It was well worth the wait. Ramona took the time to listen. She put her (magic/healing) hands on my back and she knew right away why I was in pain. After every massage, Ramona tells me that home care is important as well, had no clue. Giving me exercises to do, which has helped tremendously. “SW massage has been wonderful every time i go, all the receptionists are very friendly and helpful. I have had massages from multiple therapists and all have been great. Last time I saw Brian and was VERY impressed! He went above and beyond in helping me with a sore neck and shoulder and you can tell he truly cares about his patients and helping them with any injuries or pain. He is knowledgeable and really helped. The clinic itself is clean and inviting and i love that they have partial time bookings such as 30 or 45 minutes for more flexibility.
