“My friend broke her glasses and this store was nearby where we were walking. The friendly staff was eager to help and didnt charge us. AC was nice while we waited.”

“I have nothing but good things to say about Solis Optics. I had passed by this place many times and looked through the windows but didn't go inside because I always had my dog with me. They never gave me an anti-dog vibe, but I'm just sensitive to the fact that not every business loves my dog as much as I do. But I had a new Rx from a recent eye exam burning a hole in my pocket so I poked my head in to see if maybe, just this once, they would let a dog in the store. "Sure! Come on in! What's your dog’s name? Can I give her a treat?" And that was the beginning of my new relationship with Solis. They were friendly, welcoming, professional, efficient... see? All the great descriptors apply here. But, and this is important, there's more: Solis has a great selection of frames in a broad price range, so I bought 2 pairs and got a discount on the second pair. I'm trying to come up with something negative to say so that I don't sound like I work here. But I don't work at Solis, and I just don't have anything negative to say. Wait! I thought of something. This place is almost perfect but they don't serve complimentary champagne to customers. (I know, right?) But in spite of that glaring flaw, I highly recommend them anyway. “I was traveling had an urgent need to repair my eye glasses and Solis Optics in Yaletown was a lifesaver! Archana was very helpful and was able to find correct parts on hand to get my glasses fixed.”

“I highly recommend Yaletown EyeCare, Doctors of Optometry. Dr. Heather was extremely patient and helpful. She took the time to provide me with the best prescription for both my glasses and contacts. Moreover, Anna was extremely kind and helpfully. She helped me choose the best frames for my face shape. Additionally, she has been helping me every time I need to adjust my glasses. “I’m in town for a few weeks, and on day 3 I pulled my glasses from their case and noticed that the nose pad had broken off. I called Solis Optics hoping someone may be able to repair them, and they were so generous with their willingness to help me that I was blown away. They told me I could come by right away, and within 10 minutes she had repaired the nose pad, replaced the other side and re-fitted them to my face - all completely free of charge. She also assured me that is I needed anything else while I was in Vancouver, I shouldn’t hesitate to come by. Truly a life saver, while going above and beyond and being truly genuine. “Honestly, such a great service oriented place. I came in with a question and received a kind response. I had old glasses that required the replacement of one nose pad but they replaced both and ensured they fit well. “I got my sunglasses and had an eye exam. First of all, the eye exam was very thorough and quite different from the ones I had at other places. The doctor, whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, spoke with me in detail about the condition of my eyes and gave me helpful recommendations. I want to sincerely thank Mr. Ali, who, with great patience and care, helped me choose the perfect glasses for my face.
