“I have recently received dental treatment at Smili Dental in Powell River. Initially to received an examination and recommendations as to treatment for my oral condition. My initial appointment was addressed by Rachel the assistant who gathered information and put me at ease with her profession approach and use of modern xray equipment. Dr Katlin Meredith proceeded with a thorough examination and recommendations for treatment which were well informed and showed the obvious course to proceed. I felt my questions and concerns were addressed with knowledge and empathy. On 28th of July I returned and was treated by a UBC Student who did a number of extractions and additional Repairs for sinus perforation this student and her assistant who's names I did not capture due to my poor hearing were really excellent and did the work at hand carefully and with a great measure of expertise. “5000% recommend Erik. In the past I had 2 consults for Invisalign/Wondersmile wherein it was claimed the results would be exactly the same as after braces. I walked both times because when I read other people’s experiences online it did not reflect that. I finally got an honest answer from Erik, that some particular movements just won’t be achieved with retainers. He clearly described what results I could reasonably expect INSTEAD OF promising me the world, having me sign something saying it’s not his fault if it doesn’t work, and then blaming the imperfections on me for not doing my treatment properly- like I too often read happens to others. I’ve often thought how hard it must be for some people to stay honest in business when it can be so easy and lucrative to bend the truth. “This office made room for me in a dental emergency. They were proficient and caring. They explained everything and answered all questions. Dr. Minhas was exceptional! Never have I had needles go in so gently even though with the amount of swelling he said it was resistive to do so. “I was visiting Powell River when my crown fell off and I suddenly needed dental care. I contacted Smiley Dental and was initially placed on a wait list on Friday, but by Monday there was a cancellation and I was able to be seen by Dr. Minhas with assistance from Jenna. From my first phone conversation through to the end of my appointment, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, organization, and friendliness of all the staff.
