“I’ve had 2 dental emergencies at Smile Esthetics in the last few years requiring an extraction and, more recently, a root canal. Both times, I’ve felt supported and am so grateful to the staff. With the latter, Dr Sethi and Dana were amazing at scheduling last minute appointments and taking the time to investigate, relieving the pain, referring me to a specialist, and then following up. “I had been going to smile for several years to get my routine cleanings done and they seem to be thorough and friendly and I had no issues to report. However, things went downhill from there when I had discovered a lump on my lower right side gum next to my back molar. It felt hard and what I suspected it to be was a bone spur. I contacted smile to go in and have them have a peek at it. There was a new dentist who decided to do an x-ray and check out my molar. I advise the dentist that there was a hard lump pushing out from my gum and what I surmised was most likely a bone spur so he did one x-ray and then told me that either they would have to pull the tooth or do a root canal on it. I once again asked about the lump and that the soreness from that tooth could possibly be a bone spur. Instead he advised me that he thinks the tooth is cracked and will either need to be extracted or a root canal done, so he put me on a 2-week dose of antibiotics and said they would get back to me with a quote. 4 days later they contact me with a quote for either pulling the tooth, which would be $750 or a root canal, which would be $5,400!? Since when does a root canal cost $5,400? During the 2-week period that I was on the antibiotics the pain went away and sure enough out from my side of my gum where the lump was a chunk of bone was ejected. 2 years have gone by and there have been no issues with that tooth at all so they were about to either extract or do an insanely expensive root canal for no reason at all. That is some serious malpractice. My upper crown on the same side recently fell out and I went to an oral surgeon who is going to do an implant for me with a bone graft for $3,700 and yet a root canal costs almost $2,000 more? No way... It is insane that this dentist was ready to either pull a healthy or do a root canal on a healthy tooth for a crazy amount of money after I had advised him about the lump on my gum and it being a bone spur. As a result of this, I am never going to be going to smile aesthetics again.”

“I recently had a free consultation for Invisalign because Smile Aesthetics was recommended by two co-workers of mine. I now understand why. Dr. Chris and his team explained the entire process to me in a way that was very easy to understand. Imaging my particular teeth was quick. Not 16 X-rays or something crazy. It was an informative and educational appointment regarding Invisalign. I have yet to officially start the process but I will be getting my Invisalign here for sure! Good job Smile Aesthetics 👍”
