I have been working with an Occupational Therapist from Smart Rehab for the past eight months after they were award my claim from my insurance provider. While my experience is limited to Occupational Therapy services and not the clinic as a whole, I felt it was important to share my experience. The Occupational Therapist I worked with was always friendly, professional, and always punctual and "seemed" to be organized. However, I was disappointed with the overall follow-through and level of support I received, particularly regarding wheelchair-related equipment and other mobility services I needed while under their care. Throughout our time working together, there were several occasions (5 Occasions) where I requested assistance, information, or follow-up on equipment, services, and mobility-related concerns other than the main concern of my wheelchair. Unfortunately, many of these requests were either not followed up on or seemed to be forgotten. Some of things I asked I never even bothered mentioning again as I knew she had forgotten about it. I am the client not the OT's case manager. While a wheelchair issue ultimately became a vendor-related matter, I had also sought support with other equipment and services, and I often found myself having to repeatedly follow up or manage the entire process myself. As a client that has had many Occupational Therapists from other clinics over the years, I do understand what their jobs scope is and that I can expect more proactive support and communication. I understand that healthcare professionals often have demanding workloads, and I cannot say whether the challenges were due to workload, oversight, or another factors. However, by the end of the process, I felt my needs were not being adequately supported and chose to be asked to be discharged from their services. Sadly I still need those services and equipment but I will have to find another provider to get them done once I am ready to start the entire process again. Because my experience was limited to one Occupational Therapist, I am not sure if it's fair to judge the entire clinic or its other services based solely on my experience but that was my experience. This review reflects only my personal experience with Occupational Therapy services and may not reflect the experiences other clients may have had with the vast array of the clinics other services. Sadly this was just my thoughts.

After my motorcycle accident I needed to learn to walk again. What I can say is that I would not be walking again as well as I am without their help and in fact they were able to correct minor issues I had prior to the accident.

I can't imagine where I'd be today without all the staff at SMART. They're empathetic, understanding, and goal-oriented. A really great team!

After a car accident that substantially impacted my life I struggled with migraines, pack pain, eye fatigue, and more. Erin came into my home and workplace, thoroughly assessed my set ups, and carefully customized the things in my environment that were contributing to the problem. I felt comfortable and heard as we developed a plan, and the implementation successfully resulted in notably improved health outcomes. I strongly recommend this service.

The support I have recieved from this health facility's staff is unmeasurable. 5 stars does not represent the proper rating they deserve! I have had to rebuild myself from wheel chair, to being back on my bike in the mountains with my son. The team here has always supported me, my family, and have asked more of myself at every turn through physical rehab. 3 years out from my MVA and I am stronger and more in tune with my physical capabilities then ever before. A wonderful team, and a wonderful group of human beings. Although I would never hope anyone needs the services, I am very happy to know this team can accomplish the unthinkable. I will always recommend Smart Rehab to anyone looking for the services they provide. Thank you for putting me back together. It will never be overlooked or forgotten. Mike H.
