“Catherine has treated myself and both my children. She is such a warm person, as soon as you meet her she treats you like a friend. She is very knowledgeable about pelvic floor health and birthing positions. When my son was born I took him in to see her for physio on his head shape and stiff neck and it made a world of a difference. “My son has been seeing Kat (PT) for a while now, and we absolutely love her. He’s 4 and autistic, and he genuinely looks forward to his sessions. Kat is amazing at reading him and seamlessly redirecting when he loses interest or becomes hyper-focused on something else. Her approach is patient, flexible, and so child-centered. “We took our 1.5-year-old daughter to see Catherine at Shine on the recommendation of her orthotist. Over the few months we’ve seen her, we’ve had a wonderful experience. Catherine is incredibly kind, caring, and genuine—easy to talk to and so good with our toddler. She has a calm, gentle approach and knows exactly how to use play in a way that feels natural and pressure-free. The exercises she has suggested have been simple, playful, and easy to incorporate into our daily routine. One thing I especially appreciate is that she always writes a summary update after each session, which has made it easier to track our daughter’s progress. I also had a few additional concerns along the way, and she listened with empathy and was happy to advocate for us. Our daughter’s condition improved a lot during our time there, and while there are still some things we’re working on, the progress has been amazing.
