“The pictures online do not do this spa justice. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much thought had gone into creating a truly relaxing experience. I loved that there were both quiet areas and more social spaces, allowing everyone to enjoy the atmosphere in their own way. The thermal pools and relaxation areas were beautiful, and there were so many comfortable spots to unwind and completely disconnect. One thing I especially appreciated was that you could still enjoy a self-guided facial experience in two different areas without having to book a treatment. It added a lot of value to the visit and made the experience feel even more luxurious. While relaxing in the hammock forest, we were even visited by a deer grazing nearby. It stayed around for a little while and made an already peaceful experience feel even more special. The staff were wonderful, the facilities were beautiful, and the overall experience was excellent value. I’m already looking forward to coming back, especially when the Hammam steam room reopens. “Great place for a family-friendly and relaxing experience. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. There are different types of saunas — both moderate temperature and hotter options for those who enjoy a more intense heat. There are also relaxation areas where you can comfortably rest between sessions. Sometimes there may be a short wait to enter (around 10–15 minutes), but overall it doesn’t affect the experience. “Summary. The experience is fine and as expected. Sensea appears to be a fly by night operation that doesn't have efficient processes for booking or client communication/complaints. Clearly trying to monetize existing goodwill without doing the work to maintain a functional business. Gift Cards: Not redeemable on booking to check-in. Currently in an email correspondence with management to get the funds refunded after visiting. This should be a routine and automatic transaction. Booking: convoluted. The booking process results in being double charged if you attempt to rebook or correct pre-paid bookings. This was corrected quickly via email. Credit where credit is due. The online process should be more streamlined and not corner people. Communication: Called multiple times. Turns out they never answer the phone. I'm 30 and technologically literate but when systems fail I'd like to be able to get in contact with them. Email was fast. What kind of business doesn't answer the phone? Check-in: lined up out the door. Poor reception lady was completely overwhelmed and we stood in line for 20 minutes as we worked our way through the line. Experience: pools and saunas are fine. Nice temperature and relatively clean. Hang out huts are fun too. Very hard to get into facial rooms. Overall not bad. Also. Bonus feature. “Have you heard the term “enshittification”? This is our 7th or 8th visit since 2020 and will be our last. Little things seem to have been slipping over the years but today was downright unpleasant. Visible grime in the saunas, trash scattered around (including two bandaids, toenails and a sour patch kids wrapped stuffed into a rock crevice) Saunas out of order and the most wretched, weak overpriced coffee and a cold damp pastry from the cafe. The last straw is the removing free access to towels. Two small towels per guest for the entire day is impractical, cheap and ridiculous. Coming in and of the pools - not to mention brining a towel to sit on, as per good sauna etiquette) leaves you soaking wet and freezing in no time. There was nowhere to rest and be warm and dry - you’re either hot and wet or cold and wet. Many other guests were grumbling about this change and to their credit the staff were apologetic. The women’s changing room is (always) crowded, dirty and today especially poorly ventilated so it stank of wet, dank wood with the slight hint of sewage. The charming strings of lights up to the central opening are coated in a visibly thick layer of dust. The hair dryer didn’t work and all the stools were missing from the one area to get ready as you’re departing. I can’t justify the day pass price now being almost $100. Cost of living/everything going up up up and when you try to treat yourself to an escape from it all, well, you don’t even get what you pay for. “love this spot, lots of outdoor hot tubs, cold plunge, restaurant and drinks that deliver pool side, lake view, saunas, steam rooms, workshops. you can book a massage. there are relaxation rooms and hammocks etc.”

“I was very impressed with this spa! The pools were very clean, and I enjoyed so many options of pools. The scenery is beautiful ! I enjoyed the cold plunge pools. “Love this place. Definitely worth it. Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful relaxing day here. We rented the bath rope for $10, love how it has a hoodie and how nice and warm it is. Towels are nice too. Basically don’t need to bring anything besides slippers. They even provide plastic bags for wet bath suits. Place is clean and in great condition. Everyone is quiet, you can relax in the sounds of bird and someplace has relaxing music. They provide flavored water at the relaxing area and the big sauna.
