“Very simple place As you walk in there the reception area very simple. Carpet at the entrance not that clean but the people are. Kamio is the best, very professional, attention to detail, knows the stuff and so is Liza. Highly recommend this place.”

“I’d like to personally write a review on how fantastic the staff are here and how great-full I am they accepted me as an OHIP patient. These ladies have given me back my life!!! i still have a bit to go but I am mobile and not in complete agony 24/7. Immediately knew what the problem was and started getting treatment right away. 2 months being immobile and in excruciating pain has now been flipped around and I can walk and do stairs and smile again!! Thank you so much to the staff!! Highly highly recommended! 🩷”

“Account for Ethical and Professional Evaluation in the Field of Physiotherapy My intention in sharing this experience is not to threaten or create conflict. I want this account to be analyzed within the framework of laws and regulations that govern the practice of physiotherapy, and to serve as a reflection for how patient care can become more humane, considerate, and ethical. On April 10th, 2025, I had my first appointment with Kamia Munjal. Due to the immobility in my shoulder, she was unable to conduct a full assessment, so she gave me a series of exercises to do at home. On April 17th, I returned for a second session. Kamia welcomed me and placed me on a treatment table before leaving to attend to other patients. At that point, Lisa, the secretary, applied heat to my right shoulder. From the moment she arrived, the atmosphere began to feel confusing. Lisa was laughing for no apparent reason, which made me uncomfortable. Trying to lighten the moment, I asked how she celebrated Easter. She answered, and then I asked her name so I could address her properly. She said her name was Lisa and began talking about the singer Liza Minnelli. In a light tone, I shared that my name is similar to the Egyptian god Osiris, and jokingly added, “I’m a goddess too.” We both laughed. After applying the heat, she asked me to follow her to the machine room, where there were three people: two doing their exercises and one man accompanying them. When one of the women finished her routine, Lisa told me to do the same exercise. I told her I couldn’t. She insisted, visibly annoyed. Until that point, no one had assessed my range of movement. Despite this, I tried to follow the instruction. I couldn’t. I injured myself and released the band with a cry of pain. Lisa became angry with me and said, in front of everyone: “In all my years, I’ve never seen anyone like you.” Then, with sarcasm, she referred to the earlier joke and said something like: “And you said you were a goddess…” —that’s as much as I could hear. I felt deeply humiliated and ashamed. She said she was giving me two minutes. I thought she would offer me another exercise, but instead, she left the room. I was in shock. Once I recovered from the moment, I went to find Kamia and told her I had been asked to do something I was unable to do. She said, “Come,” and we returned to the exercise room. On the way, Kamia commented to the woman who had been doing the exercise they wanted me to do, saying that “She isn’t like you”. I responded, “Everyone is different.” She didn’t reply. Kamia then showed me a different way to do the exercise, and I gave it a try. Then she suggested another one, which was more difficult, but I made the effort. At the end, I said, “I didn’t like the way Lisa spoke to me,” and Kamia simply replied, “She’s like that.” This is my account, and I would like to leave the following questions, which arise from both common sense and ethical reflection: - How can exercises be prescribed without first assessing a person’s physical abilities? - Is a secretary qualified to instruct or guide therapeutic exercises? - Where is the respect for the person when their pain or limits are disregarded? - How do such behaviors align with the ethical code that should guide the relationship between health professionals and their patients?”

“Kamia Munjal, the physiotherapist has helped me tremendously with a shoulder injury. She is very knowledgeable and diagnosed the injury and explained the treatment at my first appointment. She gives a great deep massage for tight muscles. The receptionist, Liza's manner can be a little quirky at times, but she means well and is also helpful with the treatments.”

“If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. By far the worst customer service I have ever received. I called asking whether or not they had experience with patients with muscle issues due to a c-section. I described my issue, how long it has been since my c-section. I was overly detailed just to make sure she had the info she needed to figure out if they had a physiotherapist who could help me. I'm dealing with a significant amount of pain and was looking for help. The woman who answered the phone laughed. She laughed out loud on the phone with me! She then proceeded to say " what would you like me to say?". I remained polite even though I was not only offended but shocked that someone who works for a business and answers their phone could be so pathetically unprofessional. I can't imagine how many potential clients this business has lost due to their poor choice in a receptionist. And as I told her, what I wanted her to say was exactly what I asked her, do you have experience with patients with my issue. I could not have made it any more simple. I would highly recommend calling somewhere else if you're looking for help with your physical issues, you will not only receive no sympathy but you quite likely will be laughed at and won't even at least get the answers you were looking for.”

“Very good experience. I was treated for my whiplash injury and felt better after the treatment. Doss and the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I will recommend this place to everyone looking for a physiotherapy treatment.”
