“Excellent massage experience at Sawasdee Thai Massage Victoria! Amazing skills and great staff with very professional customer service. The location is excellent, clean, relaxing, and welcoming. We had the Couple Massage and it was absolutely wonderful. The therapists are very knowledgeable about muscles, pressure points, and body tension. They are truly skilled, experienced, and know exactly how to help you relax. Great pressure, very relaxing, and therapeutic at the same time. “I went once and really enjoyed it. I booked again and when I showed up, they were really grumpy to see me, as I guess they weren't expecting me. Some misunderstanding between the masseuses and their boss's booking. The masseuse said she'd do it but that it wouldn't be good. So I obviously had to leave because...why would I stay? Any way. “This was my first visit, and while I appreciated that they could fit me in within an hour of calling, I didn’t have a good experience overall. I typically go to a Thai massage place on Fisgard St., which is excellent. I’ve had Thai massages for years, including outside Victoria, and this experience fell below my expectations. The therapist began with an oil massage, but it felt unprofessional and unstructured. After about 15 minutes, I shared my concerns, and she stepped out to consult with her manager. Despite completing the full hour and paying nearly $100, I left feeling disappointed. For comparison, the other place I visit charges $80 and consistently provides a much higher-quality experience. “Was able to get a spot for a couples Thai massage 2 days in advance. Paid $80 each for 1 hour. A little less talking during the massage would be nice but overall, the experience was good and the ladies were nice.”
