“Dr. Solano is a very dedicated optometrist. Recently, she discovered a chronic eye condition and advocated on my behalf to be seen by a retina specialist sooner due to the rapid deterioration of my vision. In addition to her extensive knowledge, she genuinely cares about her patients and is very resourceful in finding solutions to provide the best possible care. “Don’t come here seeking contact lenses! My experience with Dr. Sandra Solano has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. Since the very first day I started using the contact lenses she prescribed, I began experiencing significant eye irritation and allergy-like symptoms that I had never experienced before. I repeatedly expressed my concerns and explained that my eyes were reacting poorly to the lenses. However, my concerns were consistently dismissed and attributed to “seasonal allergies,” despite the fact that I had never suffered from these types of allergies before seeking treatment from her. Over the following weeks, my eyes became red, irritated, and uncomfortable on multiple occasions. I returned several times looking for answers and help, but I did not feel heard, and no effective solution was provided. Instead of properly addressing my symptoms, I felt my concerns were minimized while my condition continued to worsen. What I found especially unprofessional was that when I eventually requested a refund due to my negative experience, Dr. Solano contacted my mother to discuss the matter, even though I am an adult and was the patient involved. I found this completely inappropriate and unprofessional. As a result of this experience, I have had to seek care from other doctors to address the ongoing eye issues and allergic reactions I experienced. Unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly negative, and based on what I went through, I cannot recommend Dr. Sandra Solano.”Read moreShow less
