“I was referred to Melanie McLeod by my chiropractor and little I knew how wonderful she would be. She is very kind, warm, caring, friendly and professional and is very experienced in Acupuncture. I had a severe pain in my left leg for almost 2 years and last year I was limping while walking. In only a few sessions, my pain was gone and I have been able to walk like a normal person. I also did facial acupuncture for the very first time as I have some dark spots and a very deep laugh line and omg, only with one session, my face looks healthier, the dark spots became smaller and lighter and my laugh line is not as deep as it was. “I was feeling so low went I first went in for appointments with Melanie (acupuncture)and Maria (osteopathy). I had been having terrible issues with my knee since having a knee replacement 18 months ago. Only a few months later, I am seeing incredible improvement and more flexibility. Not just this, but my knee no longer aches constantly. I am able finally to go for a walk without feeling like I’m crippled on the way back. Maria has magic hands and I would recommend anyone to go and see her for her incredible Osteopathic skill. Melanie knows just the right placement for the most effective results. “I had never tried acupuncture before, I had always thought about it. I have had very tight calf muscles the last few years that migrated down to my heals and was quite uncomfortable, other than stretching it their was not much relief. After my first session with Mel there was a noticeable difference in the discomfort that I was feeling, most notably in my left leg. I have had four treatments in total and it has not completely gone away but is way better than I thought possible. “I cannot recommend Salmon Arm Wellness Clinic enough!!! The entire staff is so welcoming and warm. The atmosphere of the clinic is very relaxing and puts your body at ease when you walk in, the tensions of the day are left at the door. Melanie has been absolutely amazing with my acupuncture. As someone who was new to acupuncture, she explained everything and made me feel relaxed and safe. I trusted her from the moment she walked in the room. I came to her worried and defeated after no one could tell me why I was suddenly having severe abdominal spasming and cramping. She was gentle, kind, and determined to help me get to the bottom of it and out of pain. You can tell instantly how passionate she is about her job and helping people. She has helped beyond words with my pain. After focusing treatment on my lower belly, I have been able to work at getting back to what my life looked like before. I truly am so, so thankful. “Short story, been dealing with chronic pain in my neck and right side shoulder. Saw my doctor MRI needed and found out that I had two bulging discs in my neck. I tried a couple massage therapist in town until I ran into Somebody that recommended the wellness centre and I was fortunate enough to hook up with somebody that had some experience. In relieving my neck pain, she recommended that I try acupuncture and I can tell people that it has been quite a road for the last four months and finally getting relief with physiotherapy massage and acupuncture. I would recommend this clinic if you have the problems like I had I am so happy that I ran into these people. They’re such a great group of Women. I’m retired truck driver with a lot of miles on my back and neck, but it seems like I’ve got some freedom to get back out and go camping hiking and do my off-roading . Cheers everybody. “My experience with Salmon Arm Wellness and specifically Sarah Andersen while being treated for Bells Palsy with Acupuncture therapy was a great demonstration of what is available outside of traditional medicine. Sarah treated my condition of full paralysis of the right side of my face over the past 3 months and I am truly amazed at the progress we’ve had with the care and attention she provided for my near full recovery. The rest of the team at Salmon Arm Wellness treated me respectfully every week and were welcoming and accommodating to me while I was at my appointments.
