Shauna is absolutely incredible I have been seeing her for over 2 years now and though so many different chapters, from personal deep rooted situations to life changes and learning and developing as a person. Shauna is able to work though so many different things and is able to dial in to help think outside the box, at least for me she has shown me other perspectives I’ve never considered and helped me learn a way to connect with myself, love myself and understand myself on a deeper level then I thought was possible. She is absolutely incredible and highly recommended!

I had a very positive experience with Safe and Sound Therapeutics for my adult autism assessment. The process was thorough, professional, and handled with great care and compassion by Lisa Harder. I felt listened to, respected, and comfortable sharing my experiences with her without feeling judged. Everything was explained clearly, and after diagnosis support was offered. I am truly grateful for the support I received and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking an autism assessment and a community support afterwards 😊

I first reached out to Shauna three years ago during one of the most challenging times of my life, navigating a separation and child custody. Being away from my family, I had so much bottled-up emotion and felt incredibly isolated. From our very first session, Shauna provided the safe space I desperately needed to release that weight. She is compassionate, deeply supportive, and helped me find my footing when I felt entirely alone. I am incredibly grateful for her guidance and cannot recommend her enough.

Wonderful space. Wonderful People. Wonderful everything. I have been around multiple clinics in Kelowna and this one has been my favourite.

Sharlene is a wonderful individual and counsellor. Her energy is warm, safe, and welcoming, making it easy to talk to her about anything. I always feel very validated and heard during our conversations. Could not recommend her more as a practitioner!

I have been working with Sharlene for quite some time now and I can say that I don’t know where I’d be had I not made the decision to start my therapy journey with her. Sharlene is super kind, welcoming, understanding and really makes you feel at home! I have received so much help for anxiety navigating family expectations and I’m still learning so many good tricks on navigating how to be a new father. I can’t recommend Sharlene more! It’s always a bet choosing a therapist/ Counceler but I’d put my money on Shar every time!

Sharlene is incredible. She is kind, empathetic, compassionate, and an excellent listener. She is professional yet personable, which is a difficult and admirable balance to demonstrate. She is excellent with children, youth, and adults alike. I can't say enough words of praise for Sharlene!

Sharlene is sensitive, caring and one of the best listeners I have known. Her years of education and experience are evident in her practice. I am grateful for her!

I have been seeing Sharlene Hamilton for some time now and find her to be extremely knowledgeable and so kind. She has so much compassion and wisdom and also has a good sense of humour which can be vital at times on this journey of life. The office space is very welcoming and private as well. I highly recommend Sharlene for your therapy needs.

Shauna extends so much care, compassion, and dedication. I’ve learned so much from her and have acquired many tools and tips that have brought greater joy and ease to my life. I’ve found her knowledge regarding neurodivergence particularly helpful. Shauna has an incredibly warm and receptive presence and has created a space free from judgement. I would highly recommend Safe and Sound to anyone who is struggling or hoping to make changes in their life.
