I have worked with SpeechWorks for many years as a Case Manager supporting adults and children with catastrophic injuries, and they are truly outstanding. Their Speech-Language Pathologists bring exceptional clinical expertise to complex cases, including ABI, cognitive‑communication needs, and swallowing concerns. Their assessments and treatment plans are always thorough and individualized. What really sets SpeechWorks apart is their commitment to collaboration. They communicate clearly with families, rehabilitation teams, and funding partners, and their documentation is consistently detailed and supportive of coordinated care. SpeechWorks is a trusted and reliable rehabilitation partner, and I highly recommend their services.

My father has been receiving speech-language pathology services from S.L. Hunter Speech Works for the past five years, and our experience has been exceptional. The therapists are highly professional and knowledgeable. I’ve had the privilege of working with Bobi, Amanda, Kaleigh, and Samantha, and each of them has been wonderful. In addition to their expertise, they create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment. They are patient, encouraging, and genuinely committed to fostering growth and progress. We are truly grateful for the care and dedication they provide.

My time with Bobi, was an incredible experience. She helped me recover what I had lost since my "incident". I'm learned many things from her lessons and clinical work. Thanks to her and her incredible team at S.L. Hunter Speechworks, for all you have done for me and my family we all really appreciate it. Now off to change this world in the best way that I can.

Linda is terrific to work with! This is a great place for transitioning related voice training. She's given me many good exercises and good pointers on how to meet my goals for my voice. Also the receptionist is amazing and very helpful!!!

I am a man in my 50s who has a functional neurological condition that has caused me speech issues over the past year. Catherine at S.L Hunter Speechworks has been an amazing help to me. I know that my speech issues are not the type of issue she normally might deal with but ... she used her imagination and creativity and found many techniques to help me. Our sessions are very interactive and my feedback is welcome. It is like we are a team trying to solve a strange puzzle. Speaking is a huge part of my job and I have had to be on medical leave for almost a year. My progress since seeing Catherine has been so great that I will soon return to work. Thank you Catherine!. I am not yet all the way better (it is a journey) but I could not have made it this far without her help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Catherine and everyone at S.L. Hunter. (billing and appointments have been very well managed. I only have praise for the entire team).

As a child and well into my 20's, I had a strong stutter. Picture the public defender from My Cousin Vinny! I saw a fabulous speech therapist who went on to work with Shanda. That therapist provided me with strategies to align my breathing so that my speech would function better. Now days, the trick is getting me to be quiet! I guess making up for lost time... Shanda is an amazing lady! She helps people just like me and many others. The stories that she tells are true tear jerkers where you see the transformation that she and her team facilitate. Knowing that my speech therapist joined her team tells me about the caliber of people she works with. She brings a combination of empathy and skill to resolve speech and communication challenges. I cannot over emphasize how impressed I am with Shanda and her team.

I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Shanda. It is evident she is passionate about the work that the clinic does and she makes a real difference in peoples lives.
