I am sharing this out of genuine concern for patient care standards. I originally came to The Chiropractic Health Centre because I had seen Dr. Hector a few times for mechanical back pain in the past and trusted the practice. When I required rehabilitation after a car accident, Dr. Hector was unfortunately unavailable that day. Because the clinic has a good reputation, I randomly booked with Dr. Scraper instead, and he became my primary provider and decision-maker for my accident claim. Dr. Scraper was very pleasant and a kind listener initially, which I truly appreciated. However, as time went on, the care felt increasingly hurried, and it became difficult to discuss my recovery progress. I was quite disheartened when Dr. Scraper had his receptionist inform me that treatments are strictly capped at 15 minutes, and that staying to discuss my symptoms would result in out-of-pocket charges. Furthermore, I felt there was a stressful focus on verbally pushing me back to work rather than providing an empathetic assessment of my actual healing process. Driving a 60–65 km round-trip for a rushed 15-minute visit where my clinical concerns felt dismissed became very difficult to justify. Ultimately, receiving fast, deep manipulations when a provider is rushing made me worried about the risk of re-injury. I unfortunately had to stop attending because I no longer felt comfortable with the safety of the treatment environment. I recognize that others may have positive experiences at this clinic, and my comments reflect only my personal experience. I hope this feedback encourages a greater focus on patient-centred care, adequate appointment time, and ensuring patients feel heard throughout their recovery.

I've been receiving chiropractic treatment ever since I was a preteen with Scoliosis (I'm decades older now), and Dr Hector is one of the best. In addition to being a great chiropractor, he is compassionate and understanding. Sometimes I wonder if the latter is even more healing than the bodywork.

Booked appointment for massage for me and my son but give us some general knowledge about health and some jerks to body. $160 for 30min for both of us was not worth it.

Called to book today with a chiro looking for new patients. I was given multiple open times with a new doctor this afternoon. When she found out I was a new patient, she said they didn’t have enough time to see me for an initial appointment. When I inquired why all afternoon seems to be open, they said they would take me. They gave me multiple time options and I chose one. I showed up for my appt at that time and the dr had gone home. After rearranging my work schedule, and driving to the appointment, I was very disappointed that my time was not valued. If you’re trying to get new patients, this is not how to do it.

This sounds weird but when I asked the girl on the phone.... hey, are your chiropractors, like... um big burly guys... or small uh... you know... smaller guys....DO YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?" She laughed and did. My experiences personally equate to the former as working better for my cricks, clicks and cracks. They they delivered. With one arm flopped over my head he dug into my shoulder from the inside underneath. I fully appreciate any doctor of chiro and I've never worked with a woman- whom I'm sure would be wonderful. But this experience at this location was exactly perfect for my body.

Collected fees first in some cases is a good idea. The client can expect better service without worrying the price. Experienced work come with skill and technical operations.

Dr. Hector is excellent and he has helped me for many years. A great and caring chiropractor for sure. Everyone at that Center is helpful as I've also went to other chiropractors there when Dr. Hector was not available. If you have chiropractic issues, I highly recommend you phone these guys and make an appointment. You'll be happy you did.

Friendly and very helpful receptionists. Dr Hector is extremely kind and understanding, really listens to what you have to say, and puts an anxious person at their ease.

I have been seeing Dr. Scraper for years. My girlfriend, her sister and my mother all go to him. Has helped me so much over the years. Has a lot of great advice. I never feel rushed. The staff in the front are always cheerful and move me through the process quickly. Getting appointments short notice when I am really in need of some work usually is not difficult. Thank you so much for all that you have done for me over the years.
