“We met Doug in 2025 through an open house we attended early in our house search in Toronto. While we weren't ready to search seriously at that time, we remembered him and reached out when we were ready. he also subsequently helped me sell my condo a few months later. The entire experience from the initial call to final paper work on both transactions was excellent. He is so easy to work with, is proactive in his communication, and has incredible knowledge of the market. Additionally, there is no pressure, he uses a data informed approach and works with two amazing colleagues- Audrey and Colton! “Doug handled our purchase of a condo in the Junction. He came with strong recommendations by family members who had used his services for their house purchases. I can’t say enough about Doug’s skill and help with our purchase process. Our situation was complicated because we live in the US, but Doug made it work. He was able to tour the condo ahead of the purchase without us being there physically, providing real-time video feedback and answering all of our questions. He helped us with a particularly difficult aspect of the purchase with great aplomb. He recommended a real estate law firm (which was important since we didn’t have any prior experience with Toronto real estate) which worked out very well. And finally, he and his team went above and beyond by helping us post-purchase to structure and execute a lease with a tenant. “We had a wonderful experience with Doug and Colton while looking for our new home. We have visited numerous properties over a number of months and Doug has always been very helpful and knowledgeable and weighed in with regards to certain home ownership insights we should be aware about - whether it's wiring, or basements, gardens or just general state of things - really anything we may have had questions about, which was really helpful when looking at prospective homes as well as prospective areas! Colton was also very helpful with showing us properties we were interested in, quickly setting viewings up and being very fast at responding to any concerns and questions we may have had. It was great to get an insight from the team into various home price points, area and home dependant, as well as insight into how long certain places were up for sale, if they went off and back on the market and why, and just a very meticulous attention to these and other details was really helpful and much appreciated! When we finally found our home Doug was very reactive in discussing and sending our offer and guiding us along the way with the whole process. We secured the place that very same day that we saw it and we are super happy with how that entire process went. Very professional and very efficient. “It was a pleasure working with Doug and team during the purchase of my family's first home. Doug is extremely personable, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He proactively reached out to us whenever he saw a property that seemed like a good fit (one of which ended up becoming our new home). We were impressed with his market analysis and thought it was a good way to estimate the market trends. Doug is a diligent communicator, he always kept in close communication during the nerve- wracking process of putting in a bid and put our minds at ease whenever a bid didn't go through (luckily only happened a couple of times). We never felt pressured or rushed but he did help us contextualize certain elements of the buying process (such as: you won't necessarily be able to fit all your old furniture in your new place, and that's ok!).
