“I just received an email by the manager that I am not welcome to come back to the dental clinic. I have only been once , and that was for a dental cleaning. I'm a senior, and qualify for the Canadian dental Healthcare plan. I was told that my contribution to the dental cleaning would be $79 , and I was prepared for that. When it was time to pay, all of a sudden that number seems to have doubled -- and I asked why this was, after I was given the number of $79. They said they had done more than was originally estimated. I told them this should have to be my own decision -- and I should have been asked during the cleaning if I wanted anything else that would cost extra. This severely dented my trust in Runway dental. This was a couple of weeks ago, on June 30 2026 . Yesterday, a filling fell out. Of course, I called to set up an appointment for tomorrow. I wanted to know if it was covered under the Canadian dental health plan. They called me back , and said it was not. I then called the Canadian dental health plan who sent me over to Sun Life, who administers their fees. They told me that no estimate was given today for anything. Only the one before, on June 30, 2026, which ran over $1,200 and would have been eight minor fillings on the front of the teeth. When I called my former dentist who will now be my dentist again of course, Dr. Amir at Dentist in Sidney, I was told that fillings were always covered. Why was I being lied to? This is a question I cannot answer -- but my faith in Runway dental financial management is completely destroyed , and of course they have now formally terminated seeing me, after just one single visit for a cleaning -- so that's the end of that. This makes for one very very very unhappy customer. I've never had this kind of a financial trust issue with a dental clinic -- because I had been with the same dental clinic for about 30 years, with Dr. Ragnar EEG, until he retired, and there was never an issue about anything.”Read moreShow less

“Runway Dental is hands down the best dental offices I’ve been to! The aviation theme is such a fun and unique touch it makes the entire clinic feel modern, welcoming, and unlike any other dental office. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed. The staff are incredibly kind, professional, and make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The dentists are gentle, thorough, and take the time to explain everything, so you always feel informed and at ease. The clinic is spotless, the technology is state-of-the-art, and the overall experience is exceptional. “After four failed dentists, I think I finally found the one. The hygienist was very nice, professional and gentle. She polished at the end, which other hygienist don’t seem to do anymore. “Dr. Peters is an exceptional dentist. He was incredibly gentle, patient, and professional throughout my entire appointment. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. “My first impression of Runway Dental was when I called to make an appointment. Sera was kind, respectful and very helpful. That is when I started to look forward to my appointment. When I arrived, the office was amazingly decorated, it had a gentle, calming feeling. Dr Peters was so professional and very easy to talk with and discuss my wants and needs. Part 2 - I had a consult with Dr Chris for orthodontics. Again, my experience has been nothing but the best. He took time to talk me through what I needed, what he could do, and he helped me decide to go ahead with getting Invisalign treatment. I can't say enough about the dental assistants too.
