Bria is lovely to work with, and my posture has noticeably changed since I started seeing her! A very relaxing experience. I would highly recommend Rooted Rose.

I was referred to the Rooted Rose by a friend. And I am so glad that I was. Since treatments started, I have seen much improvement and look forward to the sessions. I would highly recommend Rooted Rose.

I’ve been seeing Bria for acupuncture for a few months now and honestly, it’s been one of the most worthwhile things I’ve done for my healing and recovery. What stands out most is how much they genuinely care. They take the time to listen, explain things, and approach treatment thoughtfully instead of rushing you through an appointment. You can tell they’re incredibly knowledgeable, but also very grounded and compassionate. One thing I’ve really appreciated compared to some other treatments is the actual time spent with a professional. With physio or chiro, sometimes after the initial assessment you only get a short amount of one-on-one treatment time. With acupuncture at Rooted Rose, I’m typically there for an hour or more, and the experience feels calming, intentional, and restorative I’ve noticed real benefits physically, but also in how regulated and calm my body feels afterward. Highly recommend Bria and Rooted Rose to anyone looking for thoughtful, holistic care.

First time doing acupuncture - I was a little apprehensive. Bria was great. She explained everything. She has a calm and patient bedside manner. I’ve been back for a few sessions now and have noticed a marked difference. Thank you Bria!

Bria takes the time to get to understand what is affecting you, she really listens and as she is working through your treatment, she frequently checks in and asks questions. She makes you feel relaxed, and that you are important throughout the treatment. The treatment she gave me helped improve my situation so much and I am so grateful! The place is set up so you feel very comfortable and private (if you choose the private options). The temperature there is comfortable, it is clean, and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Bria is such a warm, caring, and attentive acupuncturist. You can tell that they genuinely want to help you feel better. I have three herniated discs in my back and have received many different treatments over the years to manage muscle and nerve pain. Bria was my first introduction to acupuncture, and they made me feel so relaxed and at ease. I couldn’t believe how effective their treatments were. Since moving away, I’ve continued seeing an acupuncturist because I found acupuncture to be the most helpful treatment for pain management—more than massage, physio, chiropractic, or osteopathy. I’ve also found it incredibly beneficial for anxiety. It’s amazing how calming it is for my entire nervous system. Whenever I visit family in Halifax, I make sure to fit in a session with Bria. I can’t recommend them enough.

Bria is wonderful! She's helped relieve so much stress and tension in my upper body in just one treatment. Her manual/hands-on skills are awesome! I really appreciate the check-ins she does throughout the treatment and the calming space and presence Bria/Rooted Rose provides :) not to mention the lovely tunes that are playing! This morning was smooth jazz - it sets the tone. I would definitely recommend Bria to anyone looking for some MSK work!

Meeting Bria was a real blessing. After a couple of treatments, my condition improved drastically! She offers a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, and is a knowledgeable professional. Always taking time to answer questions and making you feel comfortable at all times. I highly recommend. Thanks again Bria!

Bria always takes the time to ask proper questions before, during and after every treatment to make sure her overall approach for any treatment is precise, efficient and productive. She authentically cares about her clients and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable at all times. Thank you Bria!

I WISH I had gone to see Bria at Rooted Rose sooner. In late 2022, without a clear cause, my lower back started to seize and I was in pain anytime I was getting up from seated, bending over to reach something on the coffee table, or getting up from bed in the morning. I saw an osteopath (who suspected a purely muscular issue, due to stress and 'survival mode'), a chiropractor (who confirmed through x-rays it was not bone or spine related), and two massage therapists (who never made me feel better for more than 6 hours and sent me home with more exercises than relief) before a friend/athlete suggested acupuncture. I had never really done acupuncture before, but my friend explained that musculoskeletal acupuncture is usually very effective by targeting the knots and affected muscle groups. I explained my 16-month journey of back pain to Bria, and she said "You've come to the right place; you don't have to deal with this the rest of your life." I could have kissed her. I'm now 4 appointments into my course of treatment, and I can assure you, I've truly begun to heal for the first time (and noticeably - if I'm stiff the time it takes to loosen up in the morning is less than 30 mins). I can put my palm on the floor in front of me without crying. I can sleep at night without waking up through the night in pain. And I am so euphoric and relaxed after my sessions that I almost forget what the last year and a half has been like. Bria is excellent at respecting your personal space/boundaries and listens attentively. I was nervous at first, and now I am a lifer. I will tell anyone who will listen: if your body is in pain, go to Rooted Rose!
