Theresa is an exceptional psychologist, speaker, and leader. I have had the pleasure of consulting with her and have benefited from her ethical and intentional knowledge and support. We also had the pleasure of hosting Theresa as a keynote speaker at our annual Bloom into Practice event. Theresa is passionate, intentional, and committed to making the psychology field better. I’d highly recommend her and her team for any services they offer.

I wrote a review last year and this company managed to get it off Google! So here goes again. I write this because it is important for prospective patients to see bad reviews and this clinic should not try to silence them. I saw Kelsey Moss last year. Kelsey made an entirely inappropriate comment that I am 'not feminine' as according to her, I am 'strong like a warrior, and women should be strong like the ocean' (i.e. it is bad for females to be direct, assertive and feisty, we should be mysterious, 'soft' and non-direct). Total internalized misogyny there---and really shocking for a therapist to make such a negative comment about someone's gender identity. I happen to feel very feminine, but yeah, as a lawyer, I'm strong, and I don't apologize at all for a warrior badass energy lol. This is who I am as a person, and I love this and accept this about myself--the career I have chosen suits me very well as a litigator. By making this comment, it felt like Kelsey was trying to instill some sort of self-doubt, where there isn't any. This had nothing to do with my reason for being there, which revolved around healing a very specific trauma. I felt maybe she was triggered by my strength and projecting. Anyhow, totally not ok, I mentioned this to several therapist friends back home, and they agreed. So, keep this in mind before working with her. She might not be the best match for women who are more assertive and logical, and in male dominated fields.

Working with Dr. Theresa Jubenville-Wood and the team at Risewell Psychology has been an excellent experience. Our collaboration has focused on developing digital materials and supporting resources for mental health therapy, and the process has been smooth, professional, and highly collaborative from start to finish. Dr. Jubenville-Wood brings clarity and insight to every conversation. She has a strong vision for how to present psychological concepts in a way that is both accessible and meaningful, which makes it easy to align creative work with the goals of her practice. The Risewell Psychology team is equally supportive, responsive, and open to ideas, which has made the workflow efficient and the project enjoyable! What stands out most is the genuine commitment they show to ensuring the material we create not only looks professional but also supports the needs of their clients. It’s clear they approach every piece of work with the same care and attention they bring to their practice. I would highly recommend working with Dr. Jubenville-Wood and Risewell Psychology to anyone looking to collaborate on thoughtful, impactful projects in the mental health space.
