“Honestly, one of the receptionists was not professional when it came to communication. I asked politely if they could add my husband to the eye exam schedule since we live far away. Instead of listening, she mentioned, “I know you wanted the ongoing promotion at LensCrafters,” and kept talking. I had to stop her and explain that it wasn’t about the promotion and that we simply travel a long distance. I also told her that if they couldn’t add my husband, that was fine—there was no need for unnecessary comments. Before that, she even commented on my outfit and asked, “Do you work at LensCrafters since your outfit is very formal?” I just laughed it off. What frustrated me more was that she kept saying the doctor was fully booked and kept talking about the scheduling, yet they were still able to fit my husband in afterward. Like what was the whole talking for? The whole interaction felt unprofessional and dismissive. I told one of the doctors about it and I’m glad they didnt take it as offensive but a room for improvement on how they handle customer service.”

“Preliminary tests/scans performed by two young people who both don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Front desk staff wasn’t particularly friendly. Told me over the phone they’d bill direct through insurance, then told me in person it was gonna take a while/ it wasn’t working. I chose them specifically based on a recommendation that they could bill directly. I told them no problem I can wait; they said no, you have to pay up front because we can’t have an outstanding balance with your account. They seemed impatient and just didn’t want to do the work. Not a single smile from anybody there. Also the rooms smelled really bad.”

“Suddenly woke up one day to find I couldn't see out of one eye. I called every optometry clinic in Richmond in a panic to try to get seen by a doctor. All the other clinics either wouldn't answer their phones, had no doctor available or couldn't fit an emergency appointment - all except Richmond Centre Optometry, who understood it was an emergency and thankfully managed to squeeze me in. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. They actually answer the phone, take the time to understand your situation and treat you with empathy and respect. Dr. Khanghura is an excellent doctor. He's nice, patient and professional - he explained what happened to my eye in simple terms and thoroughly explained what steps I should take to get better. Best optometry clinic in Richmond, hands down. Thanks to them, my eyes healed up 100% and my vision's returned to normal. I'll forever be loyal to this clinic. Highly recommended.”
