“Fantasic chiropractic care and massage. I have followed Dr. Ryan Rival and Shamus Stapleton through their clinic moves for years, and I'm so happy to see them again in their spacious new digs so conveniently, centrally located in Halifax. They are both nothing short of miracle workers. The direct billing for insurance is great, and easy scheduling makes it so much smoother for me to stay on top of my care during pregnancy. “I’ve been going to this clinic for the past few months and have had a great experience. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, from the front desk staff to all of the practitioners. The whole team is professional, accommodating, and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I’ve seen Ryan for chiropractic care, Shamus for massage therapy, and most recently Liam for physiotherapy. They’ve all been great to work with, very knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely focused on helping you feel better. These guys know what they’re doing, and it shows in the care they provide. It’s super easy to book appointments, they’re very flexible with scheduling, and I’ve always been able to in when I need to. “I have been seeing Janice for 2+ years and she consistently gives fantastic massages and service. They are always catered to my very specific needs, and she takes care to ensure my hour is exactly what I want/need it to be from relaxation, to injury, to maintenance her knowledge is incredible. No matter what kind of day I have had, I always leave feeling better and looking forward to my next massage. I have also seen Ryan for physio and chiropractic treatments after a past injury, and I can confidently say the entire team is kind, competent, and dedicated to delivering great care no matter what your needs are. “Shamus is such a kind and calm person to talk to. He listens to what is bothering you and instantly comes up with a treatment plan. He asks about your comfort for the heat of the table, what music you want on, it all adds to the experience with how attentive he is. The owner Ryan also greeted me and was super friendly as well. “I have been seeing Lisa for acupuncture for several months now- my experience thus far has been very helpful/ positive- for context coming in as someone who has a lot of chronic pain, fatigue, history of life-long pervasive mental illness (anxiety/depression genre)- I was recommended by Janice, (who I also could write a whole essay of positive reviews about), to start some ACCU treatment to focus on improving my longstanding nervous system dysregulation/ chronic pain management. So... being someone who is very anxious/ in pain a lot of the time- I was at first extremely nervous about this, however I decided to give it a go as I have really also trusted Janice's practice/care- who I initially started my treatment journey at revital with. Lisa has been nothing but very gentle and accommodating. For example with things like... starting with treatment methods that felt a bit more gentle to me, reduced time durations, explaining what's going on during treatment, staying within the room during my first sessions and ending treatment sessions with something I am keen on (cupping) to provide a positive experience as much as is possible for me. A button device is also provided that I can hold during treatment and can press to call her back if I am in need of any assistance/ feeling uncomfortable etc. (I greatly appreciate this even for the peace of mind). Just in general- with her practice she will tailor the session depending on what kinds of factors you are experiencing like- menstrual cycle, sleep, nutrition, current pain levels, current emotional state, as well as being very open to chatting about experiences and providing lifestyle recommendations. These recommendations also that feel appropriate for my ever changing ability levels that are both practical and doable (which is huge!). I greatly appreciate her comprehensive care, attention to detail, and this is accentuated by the gentle and open demeanor of her practice. If you are also experiencing issues of this nature making headway can sometimes feel too heavy/ impossible, but slowly as I accomplish attending each treatment session, attempting her suggestions as much as I can, and having her help me answer the 1000 questions I usually have every session I have seen notable improvement to my overall nervous system awareness and gained some valuable insights which have helped me greatly to learn how to better regulate, as well as to aid with my overall genre of health issues. “I first went to Revital last year when I hurt my back while marathon training. Janice listened to all of my concerns and made me feel heard. Her treatment was immensely helpful and I was back out running within the week. I also had the privilege of seeing their new space recently, and it is as friendly, warm, and welcoming as the first time I visited, with new added amenities and a wonderful location. “I have seen both Ryan and Shamus thus far at Revital Wellness (for Chiro, acupuncture and massage) and I can truly say I have not experienced such a thorough assessment, respectful care, and attention to detail and planning at any other clinic in the city. With multiple reminders (via text or email) I am always aware of when my upcoming appointments are and with the clinician apps my care plan is fully accessible and easy to review. The space is clean and bright with an atmosphere of unity: all clinicians working together for whole-body health and wellness.
