10/10 customer service! The staff here are so kind, helpful and quick to help me get a discount that was for online purchases online. I really recommend this place for all your art, stationery and gift needs - it’s truly underrated in Toronto! ✨♥️

Bought a Leuchturm pen. The box is EMPTY!!! Update - the store replaced the empty box with a pen and were apologetic. Excellent response.

Love this store. Always have to get at least one thing everytime I go in. I miss their compostable books which had no lines. For some reason I keep finding they don't have any whenever I visit

I love this store so much, we just moved into the area and I’ve already been three separate times. They always have so many fun new items and I can’t resist buying something every time! And the staff are so nice and helpful if you need help finding anything. I will be back soon!! ♥️♥️♥️

I came by two weeks ago looking for a specific sticker their website said was in stock. Unfortunately, they were out, but the cashiers took my name and information to let me know if they could get more in stock. Today, I got a call telling me they got more, and when I went by, they had even more from the same producer, so I got two different ones. Excellent service, above and beyond for such a small request.

I called the store about fountain pens, and Rachel, a very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive customer care representative helped me out quite a bit. She asked great questions to support my needs. I decided to pay a visit to the store given the supports I received on the phone. There are several stores selling pens near me but I opted to go to Midoco for the care I saw come through in how I was supported even before I got to the store. I had done some basic research into fountain pens and had many questions. And, because Im a slow learner, I kept asking a few questions again and again, but Rachel was very patient and quite happy to help out. Product-wise, they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but that didn't deter me from making a purchase. I went in looking for a basic pen, but ended up buying a mid-range pen but that was a personal choice. The store does carry a variety of options in all price ranges, and the prices at the store is comparable to what you'd see in other stores or online. All in all, it was thoroughly enjoyable to receive helpful guidance and generally to be around people who are genuinely interested in their work. I had an uplifting experience.

Amazing, amazing store. I loved the variety of art materials and other neat things to look at. I made a hefty purchase of over $200 on beautiful items that I can’t wait to use in my art. HOWEVER, I literally got sick shopping in the store from the heat!!! It was so hot with no AC and no fans (fans only used by staff behind the counter) that (sorry for TMI) I was literally pouring sweat. My elderly mother had to leave the store because she couldn’t breathe properly so she went to wait outside. By the time I got outside after making my purchase (I spent about 45 min in the store) I felt like throwing up. I was so hot and felt so light headed. Big request to the team at Midoco.. please look after your staff and patrons and have AC put in or even overhead fans. You have a great store but I personally would hesitate to come back because of the environment. It truly made us sick! Other than the heat, what a great store. Bravo.

I was searching to find a glossy type of paper for Persian calligraphy but I couldn’t find it here! But that was a great experience to visit this store! A person with a beautiful pair of glasses helped me to see different kinds of paper and I had a chance to touch and feel them! He even opened one of the drawing books to show me the quality of papers! I really appreciate it and will definitely come again and recommend it to all art lovers

Cool store, art supplies and fun items. Huge selection of high quality notebooks: Rhodia, Moleskine, Leuchtturm, Field Notes, etc. A lot of art supplies too. Surprisingly, a lot of fun items: toys, games, puzzles, etc, to enjoy. I came in for some notebooks and came out with an armful of toys. Great location, a couple blocks from Bathurst TTC station.
