“I had a wonderful experience at Relief Recall Massage and Wellness. The space is peaceful, welcoming, and impeccably clean, creating the perfect environment to relax and unwind. The massage was tailored perfectly to my needs, with just the right amount of pressure and thoughtful attention to the areas where I was holding tension. Orly is incredibly skilled, professional, and intuitive. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. “*Update - today I went back for my complimentary massage after my previous disappointing experience. Orly gave me a massage this time and it was much better. She was skilled and confident and knew exactly what she was doing. She also had a very pleasant manner and was easy to talk to. Prior review: I had great expectations for this place based on the reviews I read here. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I booked a same day massage with Mia and came in at 3pm where I was greeted by a lovely receptionist and changed my shoes for rubber slippers. The small waiting area was clean and welcoming. Mia greeted me kindly and took me to the room which was clean and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I had a hard time communicating with Mia as there was a significant language barrier. During the massage she was not able to develop a smooth flow. She would jump from one area to another and waste a lot of time walking around getting stones, towels and oil. She pushed on my bones and put my arms in uncomfortable positions. At one point she laid a towel across my collarbone and pulled on it which felt like I was being choked. I let her know how I was feeling and she tried to adjust, but she was never quite able to get the hang of it. It felt like she had never done a massage before. It ended up being more stressful than relaxing as I felt I had to be alert to guide her to know what to do. I let her know that I was not happy with the massage and she let the receptionist know. I also spoke to the receptionist and she offered me a complimentary massage for my next visit, which was a welcome gesture. I’m not sure if other clients have been satisfied with Mia’s technique but I suggest that she receive additional training to improve her skills and confidence. “I heard about this amazing place in the Alma Viva Studio festival because they had a booth. From that first customer service this SPA is so friendly, and professional. I took a massage with Mei and I loved she gave mix techniques with hot stones, streching and massaging. The place is clean, beautiful and the service is amazing. I’ve had many massages before, but Olena is hands-down the best. Her deep tissue massage is phenomenal—she has incredible intuition for finding exactly where you hold tension and works it out perfectly without it ever feeling overwhelming. Combined with her cupping therapy, which is easily the best I’ve ever experienced, my muscle tightness and stress completely melted away.
