I cannot say enough positive things about the reunification services provided by Reflection Centre, and the incredible work of Deborah Alton and Victoria Spataro. When we entered the process, our family was in a very difficult place. Through their expertise, patience, and structured approach, they helped us successfully address and resolve a situation of parental alienation and ultimately reunite me with my child. Something that at one time felt impossible. What stood out most was their ability to guide both parents through honest, constructive conversations. They helped us understand what was happening, take accountability, and focus on what truly mattered: the best interests of our child. With their support, we were even able to rebuild communication and learn how to work together again as co-parents. Their aftercare services were equally impactful. They didn’t just help us through the crisis -they equipped us with the tools to maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship and continue improving how we communicate as co-parents and as a family. At one point, our child believed his parents would never be able to get along again. We committed to the process, made a promise to him, and - thanks to Deborah and Victoria - we’ve been able to keep it. I genuinely don’t know where our family, or our child’s mental health, would be today without their support. I am deeply grateful and would highly recommend Reflection Centre to any family facing similar challenges.

I can’t say enough great things about The Reflection Centre in Barrie. From my very first interaction, the entire experience felt welcoming, professional, and thoughtfully organized. Their team made the process of finding the right therapist for me incredibly smooth and straightforward, which can often feel overwhelming when you’re first starting therapy. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and it’s clear they’re committed to ongoing learning and growth in their field. You can genuinely feel that their passion is to help people - it comes through in the way they communicate, carefully match clients with therapists, and create a supportive environment from day one. This is by far the most professional and helpful therapy organization I’ve ever worked with. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares, takes the time to understand your needs, and makes the process easy and comfortable, I highly recommend The Reflection Centre.

I’ve been seeing Lisa at The Reflection for a few years now, and I’ve grown so much thanks to her. She is genuinely one of the most wise, thoughtful, practical, and supportive people I’ve ever met. When I first started seeing her, I was in a very dark, difficult, and complicated place. I felt mentally stuck, overwhelmed, and trapped in circumstances that left me hopeless. Lisa helped me navigate a complicated legal case that stemmed from a toxic relationship. She guided me into a healthier living situation and a better work environment. She helped me work through deeply ingrained mental patterns that kept me stuck for years. She supported me through all of it—both mentally and practically. Every step of the way, she was there to help and remind me of my progress. And now, I am truly thriving. She has believed in me from day one and has supported my goals wholeheartedly. Lisa played a huge role in giving me the confidence to start my own business and has helped me tremendously with the practical aspects of building it. I see her almost every week and plan to continue for as long as I can because she is that incredible. Lisa genuinely cares, and it shows. I honestly can’t imagine where I would be without her. Thank you so much, Lisa, for being my rock over the years. I am a better, stronger person because of you. ❤️

I can’t speak highly enough about the Reflection Center. In my experience - finding a therapist feels a lot like dating (in other words - it’s an arduous task) and finding a therapist that is a fit can be super daunting. The team at the reflection center made this procsss completely seamless - as a direct result of their relatability and professionalism. They have clearly mastered the craft that they are extremely passionate about.

Deborah and Victoria were courteous and professional, but that wasn’t enough in a situation as serious as parental alienation. The Reflection Centre seems reluctant to call out alienation in clear terms in their reports, and in the end their priority appeared to be protecting their business rather than advocating for truth or accountability. Despite my active involvement, I was left without a parenting plan and with my children rejecting me. If you're looking for professionals who will take a firm stance on alienation and push for real solutions, this likely isn’t the place.

I always though psychotherapy was based on trust, but at Reflections its not an important factor. Also not an important factor, respect for all participants.... It was made abundantly clear that my involvement as the mother in Reunification is LESS important than Deb Alton's. I openly objected to Deb Alton's involvement in our reunification process. This is due to issues which arose during the Parental Assessment process. Issues which continue to go unacknowledged by Deb, and therefore unresolved for me. At my first session under reunification my counsellor casually mentioned that Deb had stepped in to be my ex-husband's counsellor... I immediately objected, then called my lawyer with more objections... It was ignored. Every session and every discussion I raised my concern, that a person I feel bullied me is continuing to place herself in the situation against my concerns. None of them wanted to hear me... Because to Reflections, I was irrelevant. My concerns were irrelevant. I hope Deb Alton is aware that I will be communicating all with my personal therapist. We know how upset she gets when she learns what has been communicated with personal therapists. EDIT: After I quit reunification therapy at Reflection’s because I was feeling exceptionally bullied by Deb Alton, Deb Alton then decides she would be the person to tell my child all about it…. Because that’s how much respect I was shown by the staff at reflections.

Lisa Hooper has to be the best experience I've ever had when it comes to psychotherapy. She is attentive, focused and completely connected to me while we are in our sessions. Lisa is logical and spiritual as a therapist. I love how she has both abilities and she brings them both plus more into each session. She's a natural. I can't say enough amazing and positive things about Lisa. Her ability to support me while walking through my traumas, is her gift and I trust her 100% with everything. She makes me feel at ease and comfortable and she speaks from the heart. With all the different modalities she uses I never feel like it's repetitive. There's always something new to discover within myself as she guides me through our sessions. Thank you to Deborah Alton for your love and support and bringing Lisa into my life and the Reflexion Center for being such an overall wonderful center over the years. You both have changed the course of my life for the better I can't thank you enough. You all do such great work 🫶 I would recommend the Reflections Center and Lisa Hopper 100% to anyone who wants to do the work to get to a lighter and brighter side of life.

My experience with the Reflection Centre has been amazing. My family and I have met with Victoria and Deb for almost a year now (both in-person and virtually due to covid concerns), and regardless of the setting they have all provided exceptional help and guidance in navigating a very difficult 12 months. We were hesitant to seek therapy at all, but they both made our entire family — including two younger children — feel very comfortable from the onset. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone considering professional help, regardless of your circumstances.

The Reflection Centre is a safe space to access tools for mental health and well-being. You are met where you’re at by a professional who listens and gives suggestions to help you succeed. I have been a client on and off for 10 years and worked with Deborah and Brooke. I have continued to come back because I know I will be treated with care and respect. I know that when life throws me curveballs, I need nonjudgmental advice, or if I need additional support that I can easily book an appointment with a professional and get the help I need. Deborah has worked hard to ensure the team of professionals has the clients best interest at heart. If you are looking for a mental health professional, I highly recommend the Reflection Centre.

The team at Reflection Centre is professional and supportive. I have seen therapists in the past I never felt connected to or challenged by; I never felt like I grew as an individual or understood myself entirely. I can’t say enough amazing things about the providers however Deborah has helped me immensely to understand my thinking, and work through some issues that I have really carried through my life. She is kind, empathetic, compassionate, yet blunt and honest which I love! I can not say enough amazing things about this woman- she is truly a gift to the profession, and I love talking to her.
