Just a heads up the course feedback forms are clearly NOT anonymous. The professors know who is writing about them and what they said. Don't be honest until you're very last semester. Or don't fill them out at all until the school makes them anonymous. Besides that it's a pretty great school. Had great instructors, learnt a lot, grew so much. Oh and if you're staying in residence and have a security complaint, call the police not the resident security. I called resident security about a house party when I had to wake up the next day at 5am for class and the security sat outside in his car across the parking lot and nothing happened. I had to deal with it myself and almost got into an issue. CALL THE POLICE NOT CAMPUS SECURITY. It's safer. Other than that it's a pretty great place to get educated.

Excellent trades programs, top notch facilities, The best trade school in central Alberta with lots of amenities. Regularly produces apprentices that go on to win the national trades skills competition.

Sheldon Kennedy Center is a beautiful venue! Overlooking a scenic pond with sliding windows allowing a fresh breeze blowing through.

Went to the gym with a couple buddies. It was the nicest gym I've ever been to, $10.50 for a walk-in. A little on the expensive side but they have everything.

This Polytechnic school was so much fun and I learned so much. I made the mistake of going to Nait for my 2nd period of training. Thank goodness I still have another 2 periods to go. I will certainly not make that mistake again. Rob Baumbach was my teacher and he was the best teacher I have ever had. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. His whimsical Antics had me showing up to class on time and ready to learn. The dorms were also a lot of fun too. Thank you RDP 👏

The best post secondary institution I have ever attended. I am a current student here and I love it here so much. I am sorry to hear some people have not had positive experiences here. I noticed one review said that RDP lied about their Academic Upgrading programs. They used to have more than 30 Level Upgrading. However, they had to cut back on their Upgrading because they had less funding from the government. It is shame about a negative experiences because I feel very welcome and safe here. Rembrandt is my favorite 🥰🥰🥰🥰 He is the sweetest little mascot RDP has 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Their advertising is SO FALSE. All over the internet they claim to provide high school upgrading . They DO NOT! They offer 30 level courses ONLY! And you can only take them if you have applied for a degree program.

Worst college I ever attended! Was in the social worker program had terrible teachers that entire classes had issues with yet going through all the proper channels and proof the college refused to do anything, the teachers showed any lack of empathy or compassion. I’m honestly scared of the further social workers coming out of this course if that’s what they have for teachers. It’s a very liberal course. They push their beliefs on you. You can’t have your own opinion or beliefs as that’s looked down on. The hours they expected for practicum were super hard to accomplish. The many of the placements they were mind numbing, or didn’t teach you anything. The course was super confusing. Lots of late seats filled which left students confused of what’s expected of them. Teachers all taught things extremely differently than the others in the same course. Honestly never met so many terrible teachers and so many students scared to speak out due to the students witnessing me speaking out and how I got treated. Got told I was not allowed to advocate for the other students despite the point of a social worker is to speak out and advocate for others but i guess you can advocate for others but just not if it’s against the school or its teachers. Honestly after everything I dropped out. If this is what a social worker is than I don’t want to become one which is what I did. I gave up and dropped out after a year. I also met some absolutely terrible students. Made me feel like we were back in high school. Honestly it was super sad some of the so called future “social workers” coming out of this course. The way they treated others was terrible. But will never support or attend another course here strictly due to the college refusing to help after I had proof of a teachers treating me like absolute garbage and other students.

Bad school for mental health support and structure. They clear the front of the school but not the back residence. I slipped three times in one year and there wasn't even a follow-up from the reports that I submitted. After that I took a shovel and salt anywhere I went LOL. Residence doesn't keep up or maintain they will charge you like they do but the carpets were never cleaned before I moved in, when I lived there or after I moved out in a 3 year time. There were washers and dryers and so much clothing in the house that they had "already renovated".... When? How does the saying go again? Oh yeah; when you're here you understand ..... Why do something in one day when you can do it in 5 and waste so much money, resources and time. . Security super helpful, some teachers amazing some don't teach the right curriculum, Class sizes decent. Lots of boasted support but accessing it is always a trick. Things are slow moving right now at the college and there seems to be a lot of uncertainty but everyone is extremely helpful while being realistic and positive. The registrar's office has had continuous miscommunication it has caused delays in my education and abilities to use the resources they say are available. ID CARDS are not available on site due to covid (current system) they require you to upload a photo online, submit it you can pick up in 3 days at the registration office in the same line where the photos used to be and they could do it in 2 minutes. It is incredibly beautiful here. Not clean unless you count the amazing tenants and visitors who clean up the area. There haven't been any employees cleaning but they are great at sitting there not loitering. Oh yeah; when you're here, you understand

staff who is giving information about the studies and details of international students joining process required more training and knowledge about surrounding universities too..so sad thing is no computer science related courses where more international students are coming to canada for higher education.actually this college has very less courses to attract international students when compared with colleges in big cities like edmonton ,calgary, toronto.
