“I’ve never posted a hospital review. I am so impressed, my wife went in for surgery. From the start time to her release. They treated her with compassion and respect. The attending staff smiled made us laugh. The encouragement. I’m her husband. The staff made me feel comfortable and showed compassion. THANK YOU!!!!”Read moreShow less

“I went to the Emergency Dept. on Friday May 22nd 2026 at 3:30 PM. with chronic pain midway of my right side back area. I had been been in constant pain with flare ups within the last 3 months. I had been told previously that I had kidney and gall bladder stones. This was the second time in a month I had been there for the same reason but this time my family doctor had told me to go there. It was very busy and at 7:40 AM the next day my name was finally called along with 5 other people who had already left the hospital. By the time I was seen by Dr. Katharine Hudson she asked what the problem was and I explained to her about the pain. She began to press in various areas of my abdomen while explaining that the blood test and CT scan revealed no irregular abnormalities that would result in the issues I had. Next she went into a tirade about how I was taking up valuable hospital time and my problem should have been seen by my family doctor. I told her he had sent me there. She was quite abrupt, condescending and down right rude to me and said once again that the CT scan did not pickup anything unusual. I told her I had an MRI, an exray and an ultrasound to which she snapped back YOU HAD A CT SCAN. I said it again and she said when? I told her a month ago when I was here for the same problem. Then she mumbled something like "well I better go check your chart:" and abruptly left. When she returned she explained that although my kidney function was low and the C.T. scan revealed I had "multilevel severe spinal stenosis" which could account for the pain. Then she handed me a "Patient Visit Information sheet and left with no explanation. I had to ask the nurse who was removing the cannula from my arm what spinal stenosis meant. He was very good at explaining to me about it. The bottom line here is that I was treated very poorly by this "Doctor" who made me feel that I was taking up her valuable time and taking it away from those who needed it more. I hope I never have to see and deal with her again.”Read moreShow less

“Just wanted to come on here and say that it’s one thing to wait 8+ hours for attention at the emergency, but then it’s another thing where when you get passed the first waiting room you come to the back side to hear nurses sitting around talking about bush parties, and toronto maple leafs hockey, when there are patients waiting to be served that have been waiting for hours, are tired and in pain. I understand that it’s mainly the doctors that keep the line moving, but the level of professionalism is questionable, ridiculous system our tax dollars are going to.”Read moreShow less

“Every staff member I interacted with today was outstanding. They were exceptionally kind, understanding, and considerate; from the receptionist and triage team to registration, the doctor, and the nurse (for myself) and also the birthing unit afterwards (for my wife). Thank you all for your compassion and support during a stressful situation. You were all extremely helpful and attentive, we truly appreciate your service.”Read moreShow less

“Today I had a CT scan done by Laura. She was just outstanding in doing her work very knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with. The person who registered me was also very helpful, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. She was at zone 2.Pls advise them of my appreciation and confirm receiving. They are indeed a credit and contribute to maintaining, in my opinion, a great reputation of this hospital. Thank you. J.Hugh O’Donnell”Read moreShow less

“This is not just a review, it’s a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the incredible hospital staff for their outstanding support and care. The team felt like angels. Their kindness was evident in every interaction, but what truly stood out was their dedication. They consistently went above and beyond, and the care they provided came from genuine compassion, not just a sense of duty. A very special thank you to our hero, Dr. Fondop. After completing his shift and on his way out, he was informed of our situation, and without hesitation, he came back to take care of us. He stayed by our side until the emergency was fully resolved. That level of commitment is something we will never forget. Thank you, Dr. Fondop, and thank you to the entire team. We are deeply grateful.”Read moreShow less

“It was a great experience visiting a hospital. It was a first time visit to Canadian hospital and yes it was sin a emergency case for my friend. It was sunday morning and my friend got high glucose which was extremely dangerous. They were quick to admit him and started treating him with in 15-20 min after initial testing. The dr. And nurses all took very good care and were very patient to handle and listen all the situations my friend was suggesting. They were considerate about his health and food and checked every minute details they were related to it. Thank you for the support.”Read moreShow less
