“Dr. Doug is amazing. I’ve dealt with chronic headaches for a long time and after just a few visits I actually started seeing real results. I’ve tried a lot of things before and this is one of the first places where I genuinely noticed a difference. The clinic is professional, welcoming, and you can tell they really care about helping people feel better. I only wish I lived closer because I’d go all the time. “PTBO Chiro has really changed my life!! I have struggled with back pain for as long as I can remember and after becoming pregnant, at about 20 weeks, it was worse than ever before. Determined not to suffer for another 20 weeks, I reached out to PTBO Chiro who got me in right away and after my first session, immediately started feeling better. Chiropractic care is a safe intervention during pregnancy and throughout my entire journey (now about 36 weeks) Dr Doug has been cautious, gentle and attentive to my every need. It's clear that Dr Doug is passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to his practice and I always appreciate his thoughtful, insightful life tips in between. The clinic staff are always friendly and greet me by name every visit. A couple times I have had to reschedule last minute and they have never made me feel bad for doing so. And an added bonus they direct bill the insurance company which is great while facing some financial pressure of preparing to be off work for a prolonged period of time. “I used to get treatments from dr Doug after a minor car accident when I lived in Peterborough in 2005 (20 years ago). To this day, I still talk about the chiro work that dr Doug did for me and how it was truly amazing and it positively changed the quality of my life. After an assessment from dr Doug, he discovered that I had lower scoliosis and a raised hip. Over a series of appointments, I was skillfully realigned by dr Doug. “I have required the services of chiropractic doctors from the tender age of 15 (now 71) for various issues from injuries and age related wear and tear and have been under the care of Dr. Doug since 2022. I was very impressed right from the beginning of our relationship with the professional care and his attention to detail regarding his treatment of my lower back and neck. Referring to the digital X-rays on the computer before each treatment and listening and understanding my particular concern at each visit resulted in specific treatments tailored for my adjustments at that time. By far, the best chiropractic care that I have ever received has been from Dr. Doug, and I would highly recommend his services to anyone in the Peterborough area. “This place is nothing short of excellent . I have been seeing Dr Doug for 4 years now since I had a life changing accident where I have suffer from chronic pain in multiple areas of my body. Dr Doug has been a key factor in my healing and getting to place where I can feel as best I can in my body now. Dr Doug takes the time to personally understand you and your case while simultaneously providing professional knowledge and expertise to help you. You are not just a patient a PTBO Chiro, all staff and Dr Doug make you feel welcomed and truly want to help you feel as best as possible emotionally and physically with the impairments you may have. Dealing with chronic pain is an emotional roller coaster, having a chiropractic provider who also wants your quality of life to improve yet understands there are hard days where you just need a hug - truly makes a difference.
