We have had a great experience at the Calgary Winter Club. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers an excellent variety of activities for families. The staff are friendly and professional, and the club has a welcoming atmosphere. It is a great place for children and adults to stay active, participate in programs, and enjoy time together as a family. We really appreciate the quality of the facility and the overall experience. Highly recommend the Calgary Winter Club.

The Winter Club is such a great place for families. The facility is well kept, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there is a strong sense of community the moment you walk in. The staff are friendly and professional, and the club offers a great balance of recreation, social connection, and quality service. It is clear that a lot of care goes into creating a positive experience for members and guests. Highly recommend!

Have been a member here for over 28 years. The club continues to grow, reinvent itself and has been a focus for my family for decades. At least three our of our family of four have used it tons. I am there likely 6 out of 7 days it seems. Over the years it has been squash, swimming, weight training , spin and cycling, running and really ever evolving. I wish the instruction could be a part of the moderate high fees , this is a real issue when comparing nominal Y memberships and facilities. However if you are self ignited nothing beats this place. Its very precious and incredible!! What we spend in our life time in fitness really has no measure. What better way to teach your child how to cope with stresses in life. Fitness is a personal choice and the cost is really secondary a issue. Do this if your budget allows or Y in NW for your family is my urge to all in our community.

We became members just before starting our family, and it’s been the best investment we’ve made! We love the amenities — especially the pool, tennis courts, kids’ play area, and gymnastics. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The Elevation restaurant is also a favorite, particularly their delicious buffets. Highly recommend the winter club for families looking for a fun and welcoming community!

Today, August 20, 2025, I was invited to the Winter Club. The cleaning lady in the women's section made me feel uncomfortable. While I was changing, she deliberately mopped the floor next to me and snooped on me. I hope I can educate her on this. Also, the floor was slippery, and she didn't mop it properly. I apologize for my criticism, but it's the truth.

Absolutely love the Calgary Winter Club! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming and energetic. The staff are always so friendly and helpful—it truly feels like a second home. Whether it’s skating, swimming, or just relaxing with family, there’s always something fun to do. The facility is super clean and well-maintained, and I love how it offers something for all ages. Big shoutout to the instructors too—they’re incredibly knowledgeable and make every session enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay active and connect with a great community!

Finally was able to check out Calgary Winter Club with a buddy that’s a member. - Racket courts (7 squash, 6 tennis (hard), 5 badminton and a table tennis). Squash court (front wall) felt muted but spacious area to view - 10 convertible bowling and 8 curling lanes - Fitness area, gymnastics area, gym, climbing centre and skating rink (not full sized) - Childminding (for up to 6 year olds). Never seen this offered at a club before - $20.00 guest fee entry - Insane $60K initiation fee plus monthly fees

I was at Calgary winter club for a dual birthday party, it's a nice and clean place. The staff was respectful, polite, helpful. Kids had fun. The food was yummy.

Although the entry fee is ridiculously high, considering the vast extent and quality of sports, fitness and recreation facilities and the fact that management keeps costs under control, it is a good long term investment for a young family. If the club would put some effort into community building it could be much better. Currently, members find it hard to get to know one other and to arrange their own matches, etc., without signing up for programs, which cost money. There is some friction among members, especially tennis, considering the competition for court time. However, there are few better alternatives in Calgary to the Calgary Winter Club.
