Went to PT health in Amherst as I was working away for 3 weeks and I am glad I did. Prashant is a great physiotherapist, he did wonders on my frozen shoulder. Would highly recommend him to anyone needing physio. AAA+++

The team here is very kind and welcoming. All staff if knowledgeable on their specialized areas. I’d recommended ptHealth for quality and effective treatment.

PT Health Amherst has been absolutely wonderful since my MVA in November. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly caring, supportive, and attentive to my needs. They take the time to listen, explain my treatment, and make sure I feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. They truly make you feel like family, not just a patient. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients and their recovery, not just the treatment itself. I’m very grateful for the compassion and professionalism I’ve received and highly recommend them.

I came to pt health after my motor vehicle accident and not only has the physio and massage helped me recover significantly but everyone is so kind and fun! My appointments always feel so personal and I always leave smiling and laughing! Even after my current treatment is done, I will be back in the future when I need treatment!

Back in May I was in a motor vehicle accident and suffered from whiplash. From the very first visit, the entire team at PT Health Amherst has been nothing but warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They made me feel comfortable and supported through every step of my recovery. What stood out most to me is how they went above and beyond not only in my treatment, but also in the way they treated my small children like their own whenever I had to bring them with me. That kindness and understanding made a difficult time so much easier. I am truly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and personal touch they’ve shown. I couldn’t recommend PT Health Amherst more highly!

Positive: friendly staff and good appointment availability . Not so positive: poor symptom diagnosis and treatment. Seems revenue generation is their primary objective, top quality patient care is less so. More detail: Reason for visit was significant lower back and leg pain, probably sciatica or piriformis syndrome. After short examination P/T confirmed, "Yup, sciatica, or piriformis syndrome, or both." No better info than what I arrived with. Hooked me up to the Solaris machine and zapped muscles for 30 minutes. No apparent benefit. Recommended a return visit a day to two later, which I did. Follow-up was simply another 30 minutes of muscle zapping, and a recommendation to come back again, and again, cha-ching, cha-ching. I'm not particularly physio savvy, but I do know what problem solving looks like. I didn't see any here. Visited Charlottetown Physio and spent an hour there. Within 15 minutes they had the issue identified as sciatica and S1 nerve specifically. *That* is problem solving. The rest of the hour was filled with hands-on treatment and fabulous care. No zapping. Super informative. Next time I need a P/T I won't go back to pt Health; will drive to Charlottetown instead.

Booked online and was so thrilled to find an opening on short notice as I was in alot of pain to only to have the receptionist call to say I could not have the 1hr appt but could change it to a 45 min appt because of another booking; I so agreed to shorten my appt - THEN only to have the massage therapist call and said I could not have the appt at all... NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!!

Everything here is great! They treat me like they really care about helping me stay comfortable. My massage therapist, Tanya is awesome. Prashant has a great team. Physio therapy is helping and Emma is the best with her sense of humor and knowledge.
