The institute has a very professional feel to it. Clean, running on time. My therapist was thorough and knowledgeable when assessing me. The treatment alleviated my issues and I feel great! I will be happy to return to PIMT.

Extreme privacy issue: TLDR; The below two issues are a huge risk to a patient's privacy due to the risk of someone from outside the window seeing in AND from webcam recordings ocurring without patient's knowledge or consent! This review is about the educational instution, not the student massage therapist (who was fine for the student's level of experience... meaning no issue with the student). However, with respect to the room (not the student), there are two glaring issues. First, the single, stretched out curtain DOESN'T COVER THE ROOM's WINDOW FULLY TO THE OUTSIDE (specifically room 110 in this case). The curtains are not wide enough, nor adequate enough, to cover the window--meaning a patient can be exposed to an individual seeing into the room from the outside. Either wider and/or more curtains SHOULD be used--potentially with a window film that blocks someone from seeing in from the outside of the building (note: multiple rooms have at least one window that are at ground level which is open/accessible to the general public). Second, there should not be an OPEN laptop on a desk. It should is FULLY CLOSED AND/OR the WEBCAM should have a PHYSICAL COVER to block the webcam lens fully! The ease to which a patient can be recorded, without our consent (during the interview process and the the disrobing/treatment stages), is very, very concerning--not just from the owner of the computer, but also from malicious software and other individuals that may have control or access to the laptop. A patient should have an unequivocal right to privacy in an environment that sees us in a vulnerable state of undress. Note: The Professional Institute Of Massage Therapy emailed me a request to review my treatment visit there and thus I completed their internal review with these issues, as well as this google review which was also requested via the internal review process). This is a matter that should be solved by the educational institute immediately!

Tristan was very professional and conscientious of what I was saying about my specific pain areas. I'd say it's the best massage I've had in the last 15 years. He applied enough pressure and spent a good amount of time on all of my trouble spots. My shoulders and neck haven't locked up since my appointment with him. I will definitely be seeing him for another massage. He seems to have the right kinda touch. Thanks Tristan Romashenko

My mom and two people on my softball team are RMT’s but let me tell you, the three that I saw today were well on their way. I’ve been getting massages my whole life, and these were top-tier

3 all star students from PIMT came to the Sitting Ducks Slopitch tournament on Mother’s Day weekend. Massages were enjoyed immensely by all mothers that came whether they were spectators or players. These therapists encountered everything from pulled muscles to the need to just relax and provided excellent care!

Massage was very good. There was a short consult at the beginning to target concerns. Therapist listened and did what I asked for. She was knowledgeable and she was personable.

10/10 best massage I've had. She did more than fully registered / qualified massage therapists have done in the past. Highly recommend Shaylen Doolittle.

I was amazed by a first-year massage therapist who treated me for 90 minutes. The session was very satisfying and exceeded my expectations. She felt like a truly professional massage therapist because she knew exactly what she was doing, especially in addressing my pain concerns. If you want to try just look for Sharlie Cabuten .

The student massage clinic at PIMT is amazing! The student who worked with me was very knowledgeable and conducted a thorough consultation beforehand. She addressed all the areas we discussed and clearly explained each step of the treatment. Throughout the session, she made me feel completely comfortable and maintained a high level of professionalism. I highly recommend visiting PIMT for a massage—you won’t be disappointed!
