“I had an excellent experience with Jade. She was especially skilled working on my neck, very precise, effective, and attentive to what I needed. Her technique was the perfect balance of strong yet gentle, which made the treatment both therapeutic and relaxing. Overall she is one of the best RMTs I have seen. “I had my first experience with physiotherapy at Proactive Health, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start. Mohammad was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive throughout my recovery. He took the time to really listen, explain things clearly, and made me feel confident in my progress every step of the way. What stood out to me most is how welcoming and safe the clinic feels—especially as someone from the LGBTQ+ community. It’s rare to find a healthcare space where you truly feel seen, respected, and comfortable, but this clinic genuinely provides that. Amber at the front desk is also wonderful—she’s always friendly, flexible, and easy to communicate with when it comes to scheduling and questions. David, the owner, creates such a positive and welcoming environment, and you can really feel that the whole team cares about their clients. I also had sessions with Sabrina, one of the RMTs, and she was fantastic—very professional, attentive, and really helpful in my recovery. Every visit feels relaxed and comfortable—I can even joke around with them like we’re friends, which makes a huge difference when you’re going through recovery. I highly recommend their services. “I highly recommend Proactive to anyone needing to see a physiotherapist or massage therapist. I've seen Blake for massage therapy to help with migraines, and Mo for physiotherapy for a back injury. Both have been very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and they both seem to have a passion for their work and sharing their knowledge with their patients. I'd also like to shout out Amber behind the front desk who is very friendly and was always 2 steps ahead of myself, worksafe and my private insurer. “This is my six visit to this clinic, and every experience has been fantastic. The massages here are truly amazing! I was just there this morning and had a session with a Jade (Meiyu) therapist, It was the best one-hour massage I've ever had. “I've been to a number of Massage/Therapy Clinic and it's my first time to try Proactive Health. I was really pleasantly surprised starting with the very warm welcome and great customer service from the reception staff Amber. She's very accomodating and made me feel relaxed as soon as I came into the clinic. My therapist, Blake Nelson was really good. He was asking me about some possible issues I may have in the past with some muscle pains etc. while he was working on our session. He tried to address some of the concerns that I told him, and he was really good at making his patients feel at ease while doing his therapy/massage. It was a relaxed and a great session all through out that before I knew it, the session was over. He told me that he would try to work on my other concerns when I have the chance to come back. Without any hesitation, I booked a next appointment in a week's time, and again I had a very pleasant encounter with the reception staff Amber. I would definitely keep in mind Proactive Health for my next and future sessions. Excellent service, through and through. Thank you so much Blake and Amber. “I have been to many RMT studios around Richmond and I really enjoy Pro Active Health. The front desk staff always address me by name when I call which makes it feel a little more personal. The staff are very welcoming and I can tell they are passionate about what they do. Every practitioner I have booked with has done a fantastic job.
