“I cannot recommend Prism enough! I was referred to her by friends, but had been religiously going to another tech for years. After taking a break from nails due to surgery/medical reasons, I went back to my old tech and unfortunately wasn’t happy. By my first fill, I noticed damage (“rings of fire”) and lifting, despite taking really good care of my nails. After the second fill, the damage worsened and the set barely lasted a week… even warm water with those thick rubber dishwashing gloves on became uncomfortable. I reached out to Prism with photos to see if my nails were even workable as damage could be seen through the polish. Abigail got me in quickly to safely remove the set and assess exactly how bad they were. To both our surprise, it wasn’t too terrible, so we continued with the application of extensions using polygel (switched from “solar gel”) and her own products. From the start, she was incredibly professional; never spoke negatively about another tech, just focused on my nail health. She spent 3.5 hours carefully removing the other shop’s products to ensure no further damage occurred. I’ve never had such a gentle removal. The parts of my real nail (that hadn’t been damaged by the other tech) looked incredible after they were mostly bare again. Since then, she’s been amazing. Her technique is gentle and precise, prioritizing healing while still giving beautiful results. Her sanitation practices are top tier, and she even includes the cutest little care kit with cuticle oil and aftercare instructions. If you want someone who actually, truly cares about your nails, she’s the one!! 💅🏻”
