“I cannot say enough about PILSC and the unconditional support they provide in times of need to their clients/families. In my darkest time they provided such kindness, compassion, empathy, and space for my feelings. It's a resource that I hope people don't need to access but if you find yourself in the heartbreak of pregnancy or child loss, please do not hesitate to reach out and connect with their services.”Read moreShow less

“I was dumped from the support group at the worst time of my life without empathy of the group leader. Each loss is different. While many PILSC members are empathetic, it seems group leaders should have much more training. The support group wasn't even following the topics scheduled for each session... Also, to managers and group leaders, please realize mothers may not even have ANY capacity to process information for many months and read a long list of "group rules" when your child is brutally killed by hospital negligence. Kindness and understanding first and foremost. Unfortunately I would not recommend this group to anyone. Thank you to Jason for being exceptionally kind.”Read moreShow less

“We started receiving support in October 2021 through PILSC. The support started almost immediately after the loss of our son. I was in a daze in the early days and weeks after our son passed, and our support from Danielle, our therapist, was invaluable. All loss is hard, but this type of loss is unlike anything you can imagine, and for us, we needed someone by our sides through that initial trauma. I honestly don't know where we would be today without Danielle or PILSC. We have used many services through the center, including art therapy, equine therapy, initial grief groups, and working one-on-one with our therapist Danielle. Danielle has also provided numerous accelerated resolution therapy (ART) sessions to help us heal from our trauma. You become part of a community with PILSC. The founder of PILSC, Aditi, is a superhuman doing such important work. Aditi, thank you for being the voice we all need. There are so many fantastic staff and volunteers with PILSC. Thank you for all that you do. As for the physical space of the center, it is warm and inviting. It is an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome. I always boast about the center and all its services. Thank you for walking along side us and our journeys. We are not alone still we rise.”Read moreShow less

“I’m so grateful for this organization and for all those working and volunteering here. I’ve attended an online group and sessions with an individual loss coach. A safe place to start my life long healing after the stillbirth of our daughter. Most staff have experienced loss themselves. This was important for me to be surrounded by other clients and counselors who understood what I’ve struggled with.”Read moreShow less

“For 3 years I found myself alone, struggling with the grief from the loss of my baby. After having found PILSC I was able to finally talk about my experience and I finally felt understood and started my healing process. Every time I go to a meeting, I feel much better. I always heal something new. It's been over a year of learning how to deal with my grief and understanding my own emotions. I couldn't be more thankful for having found PILSC. People here are professional, compassionate, non judgmental and they are very loving.”Read moreShow less
