“Finding Kate Talbot to help me with my joint health after many years of competitive sports has been an absolute blessing. I was told by many professionals that nothing could be done for pain or the limited range of motion in my foot after a surgical operation, but she disagreed. After a number of treatments, my range of motion has surpassed what I thought was possible and the pain is almost negligible. I also have other aches and pains which she has quickly diagnosed and helped me overcome. If you want an acupuncturist who really knows what they are talking about and truly cares about your health, Kate Talbot is the person to go see. “Hi, I would like to submit the following testimonial for Ping. She came to my mother, Jean's long term care centre and has literally worked miracles! My mother suffered a catastrophic global aphasic stroke seven years ago which left her completely unable to move the entire right side of her body, After an initial six weeks' intensive rehabilitation at Glenrose, she was able to walk a little with a cane but spends almost her entire day in a wheelchair, struggling with numbness, stiffness and pain. We contacted Ping who offered to come to the centre (where my Mum is most at home) and provide massage therapy. Ping arrived extremely early, loaded with her massage table and every possible tool and accessory to make the experience the best for my Mum. We decided that Mum's own bed at the care home would be best. Ping set to work with music, her massage kit, an array of beautiful oils and her incredible skills. My Mum was never comfortable with massage prior to her stroke as she is an intensely private person. I watched them both in awe, my Mum completely relaxed for the first time since her stroke. Ping was innately in tune to my Mum's every need. At the end of the hour long session, my Mum managed to raise her right hand above her head. Prior to this, she has managed less than a few inches, often only with the aid of her left hand to support. We are beyond grateful and thrilled with Ping's incredible talent and committing to a weekly program in her capable hands. I wish we had considered massage therapy for my Mum years ago.
