“It saddens me to say that after having Dr. Pink as my eye doctor for years, I had to find someone else. I am on ODSP and she told me OHIP no longer pays for eye exams for those on social assistance so I would have to pay out of pocket. I was unable to do this for a long time, and thus unable to update my prescription. I found out through Google that it IS still covered, so I called another optical place up the street from me and they were happy to do it! I told them how my other optometrist said OHIP no longer covers eye exams, and they said they still do and it sounds like she just changed her policy. So, as wonderful as Dr. Pink is, I cannot help but feel I was lied to just so she wouldnt lose a client. It doesnt feel like my best interests were at heart. I found out that I now need bifocals, and probably have for some time now. At least now, I am able to get the care I need covered by OHIP.”Read moreShow less

“1 Star – Extremely Unprofessional and Disappointing Experience I had a very frustrating experience with this clinic. After calling multiple times, I finally managed to book my first laser hair removal appointment. When I arrived, they only performed a patch test but still charged me the full payment upfront — without giving any proper pre-appointment instructions. Since then, it has been nothing but rescheduling. They changed my appointment twice with different excuses each time, and I adjusted my schedule accordingly. Today, they called again to reschedule — pushing it another two weeks later. It has already been TWO MONTHS and I still haven’t had a single actual session. They advertise “unlimited sessions for a year,” but what is the point if you can’t even get booked in? When I requested a refund due to the constant delays, they asked me for payment proof — even though they processed the payment themselves. On top of that, when I originally paid, they added a $20 tip without my consent. When I questioned it, I was told I must have selected it — which I absolutely did not. I was promised a refund for that amount, but two weeks passed and nothing was returned. Now that I finally received a refund, they kept my $20 “deposit” for the patch test, claiming it is non-refundable — something that was never disclosed beforehand. This entire experience feels unprofessional, disorganized, and misleading. Taking full payment upfront, adding charges without consent, repeatedly rescheduling, and failing to clearly communicate policies is unacceptable.
